The US has a history backing shady characters. It's a catch 22, he does nothing and gets criticized or he supports opposition to Assad and gets criticized. Personally, I think he should have done nothing. Supporting Assad and the Baathists is a better idea than arming these fanatics.

Due Process is bullshit....we execute and incarcerate more people than the entire world combined. There was a woman executed in Texas and they had a barbecue outside because she was the 500th customer.....

We haven't had good leadership in decades. Presidents have been giving arms and money to radical groups for the last seventy years or more. The end result being blowback. They never seem to learn from their mistakes. The CIA and military advisors keep going back to this well long after its clear the well is poisoned.

Nothing personal but there is far less crime in Arab countries than in America....they know how to get shit done.
And no, its not enough especially if innocent people are sitting there on death row.....seems as though every month, another person gets exonerated because of DNA evidence....

You do realize that in an Arab country, your very existence is a considered criminal. In all likelihood, you would be stoned to death (after being castrated) by an angry mob, or at the direction of the government.
