If I'm getting/staying strong and ripped. Should I ignore hunger and just eat according to what's been planed ahead?

You have a few options;

1. Do a line of coke (keeps appetite at bay, helps you stay super ripped)
2. Don't eat until night time, where you can eat around 3000 kcals of Mcd's in one go.
3. Stick to your reasonable plan.

Eating for want vs. need. You decide.  But just have a small snack and track the calories to ensure you don't go over your daily limit.

Exactly. Any question like the OP needs about 5 clarifications to give a half useful answer, so it's a pointless endeavour.

What's your overall calories per day? Why? How much deficit/surplus you want to be in etc etc

My wife still can't get her head around the fact that some days, i'll skip lunch (busy in the office/too much ephedrine haha) and later that evening i'll pass by a drive thru and order 2 mcflurrys and a double cheese burger. At the end of the week I've still lost over a pound of fat  ;D
