Title: nutmeg's chemical inhibits enzymes that break down certain neuro transmitters
Post by: Marty Champions on June 30, 2013, 06:45:48 AM
Nutmeg contains myristicin, a compound also found in parsley and dill, which acts to weakly inhibit an enzyme called monoamine oxidase that helps to break down certain brain neurotransmitters. Myristicin can cause personality changes and delusions both directly and through its effects on monoamine oxidase.

wonder if could be helpful for a workout. giving you that psychadelic edge perhaps

im on tablespoon 3 on an empty stomach, just trying to get power from it thats all i need

Yup - I heartily advise you taking a tablespoon of ground nutmeg and coming back and reporting on the experience.
