Title: Last words of the executed in Texas.
Post by: Archer77 on June 30, 2013, 05:10:54 PM
Texas has a database where you can read the last words of executed criminals.  It's pretty interesting but is it to morbid and should it be taken down? One of the criminals uses the Arnold line, "I'll be back" so it's bodybuilding related.

Didn't read, but that's creepy. Not sure I'd want to look through all that. You know for sure at least one of those fools was innocent.

This one is golden.

Ms. Connie Hilton, I'm sorry for what happened to you. If I hadn't raped you, then you wouldn't have lived. If you look at the transcripts, I didn't kill Mr. Newman and I didn't rob your house. There are two people still alive. I was just there. When I saw you in the truck driving away, I could have killed you but I didn't. I'm not a killer. My momma was abused. I'm sorry for what you've gone through. It wasn't me that harmed and stole all of your stuff. If you look at the transcripts you will see. I ask the good Lord to forgive me.

Funny how almost all of them found Jesus. I read through about 25 or so of them randomly, pretty creepy!!! The "I'll be Back" one made me chuckle.

I was about to comment on that.  A lot of bet hedging at the very end.

Have to love religion.

Kill people, but forgive and accept JC into your life = go to heaven

Law abiding citizen, do good,  but an atheist = burn in hell for all eternity.

Read through quite a few of the crimes they definitely got what they deserved.  I was also amazed at how long some of them were on death row!

Having the final words posted is morbid but in some ways it's fascinating to see what one has to say knowing they are about to die.

Yeah, people on FB, as well as most others, pray for the dumbest things.

I mean, I think its pretty selfish to pray for something trivial, especially when there is so much other bad crap happening. Not like prayer works anyway. But still, if youre going to pray for something, at least pray not to have cancer or something.

I asked the question because there has been some pressure to take it down.  I think most if not all would like to have their last words accessible by people, especially those who proclaimed their innocence.

Look at Kenneth McDuff I remembered this cat from my childhood he use to roll with my uncle ( who was a fuckup himself) but this dude went on death row in the 60s ended up being released in the 80s and committed another murder a got put back on in the 90s and finally executed.

I asked the question because there has been some pressure to take it down.  I think most if not all would like to have their last words accessible by people, especially those who proclaimed their innocence.

Not all of these quotes are morbid.  Some are filled with not only remorse at their crime(s) but with more than a touch of love for not only their families but for those of their victims.  If there is a God then He knows the hearts of all.  Which is more sacred, more holy if you will, the chest beating of a pseudo believer or the genuine heartfelt supplication of one guilty of taking innocent life and paying the just price for said crime with their own life?  If we who are merely human can differentiate between the two how much more the One who created all?

If they are truly  repentant, then God knows.  If it is all for show, again God knows.  If as some here assert there is no God, then why do you even care if they call out to the Christ whom you believe to be  a farce?  I will not deny the gift of Hope to one condemned to die.  And they should die for their crime.  If they truly believe in Christ then they will die but once.

God knows the heart but when one speaks without thinking then the world knows a fool.

It is said there are no Atheists in foxholes (but I am certain there are and many are wonderful people) but there are more than a few in this world that could use a moment or two to think over their words before revealing themselves to the world at large.

The death penalty is just.  Don't care for it?  Then lay down your own life as did the One some here choose to mock when His name is called out by those about to pay the price for their crimes.

Just a thought or two on the subject.  Be well.

There is definitely a lot of grasping at straws here.  I found that I felt greater sympathy for those whose last words were an apology and acceptance of guilt.  I felt nothing for the men who only talked about Jesus.  At that point they died as they lived, caring only for themselves.

Makes you wonder about the one's proclaiming their innocence right up until the needle goes in.  At some point you'd think they'd accept what they did, so did these people really do it or is Texas killing innocent people?

Some of them were innocent but the chances are some of the people who protested their innocence chose to lie for whatever reason.

Yep, that's the way it works. You have a problem, take it up with him. Or keep complaining and burn in hell cause you thought abiding by man's law and being "good" would get you there.

Last words of the executed in GETBIG:

Mower: My neck is thick and veiny like a well-endowed cock.

Derek Anthony: FUCKIN' BITCHES HIDIN' BEHIND YOUR COMPUTER SCREENS TALKIN' SHIT!  MEET ME AT ICU ROOM 12 AND SEE WHO TALKS SHIT THEN!

NarcissticDeity: I give my whole heart and being to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, and beg him for forgiveness for my adulterous and atheistic ways. And Coleman can never touch Dorian's "graininess."

Cswol:  Do you want to live small or die big??!!  Fuckin' TWINKS, all of ya!

Groink: "......." A lone tear runs down the ruggedly handsome and stubbled face as the blue bombardier eyes gaze endlessly into the distance.

SuckMyMuscle: No last words recorded.  He single-handedly executed the prison staff and escaped using only a broken broomstick handle.  Considered EXTREMELY armed and dangerous.  OneMoreRe was taken into protective custody for his protection.

Shizzo:  The KING has spoken, and.........ah, fuck it.  No one is listening, anyway.

Wiggs:  Jesus was BLACK!  "Hair of the Wool!" FACT!  He was Hebrew, and therefore, was BLACK.

333386: Lying, traitorous, commie, muzzie, socialist SCUM!  FILTH!  I'm only here because I was impeding your progress on DESTROYING 'MURICA! and everything she stands for.  And...drugs are for losers.

Prison conversions mean nothing.  It's easier to abandon your former life of crime under lock and key. Recitivism rates would indicate that when they do get out they continue their criminal ways.

These people are truly screwed up. They have explanations and excuses for they've done even until their final words, they are truly beyond any sort of help or comprehension of what they have done.

These are the people who are sentenced to death, hopples cases that are beyond reach. Due to their lack of any meaningful insight or remorse, and their inability to see thing from outside themselves, I gather most of them are sub 80 IQ.

Some people are just not cut out to live in modern society. We do this with all animals that attacks and or kills humans.

As long as you swear allegiance to my provincial idea of the creator of the universe -- even if it is in the last millisecond of your existence -- all the hurt and anguish you caused in the world is A-Ok and you get to live in the sky in a place with golden streets forever and ever!"

Yes, sad state of affairs

And only laying on a table seconds from death, they come creeping to the cross so to speak, all in predictable pathetic egoistic fashion.
