After season 2 the show went to maximum warp in terms of story quality. None of the liberal corny homerseks about Federation always being the do-gooders and being super nice to everyone.

Well I do like the characters in original series the most.
Voyager has best " villains " and I like the continuous storyline. And 7 of 9
Maybe TNG is an overall winner here. To me.
I'll have to take your word on DS9 because I never got interested in it.

TOS > TNG >>>>>>>>>> VOYAGER >>>>>>> DS9

My favorite was Voyager.
I loved the various villains, stories and continuity from season to season.
One of my favorite things about the show was the majestic theme song:
"1"

Memories of watching them with my dad.
Cant be bettered, I still watch them occasionally if I stumble across them even though they are pretty lame. ;D

hahahahahahahahaha oh, brother ::)
"Star Trek" what a fucking dorkfest
-
skip to 3.39 ;D

I have DS9 and TNG tied for second.
The OG was the greatest. Never liked Voyager or "Enterprise" at all... A show is just crap when you have to bring in a 1/2 human cyborg hottie to keep the ratings interest.

Kira Nerys was cool

Exactly. Who sticks around after two bad seasons waiting for a show to get good. Bah! The answer is Voyager. The show took the crew and viewers out of the comfort of Federation space. Introduced worthy villains in the form of Species 8472, the Kaison Nystrom, the Vidiians; and Voyager stood up to and handled the Borg. And who could resist 7 of 9 in her form fitting outfits?
Doom approves.

I can say the same thing about Voyager. From my point of view the first 3 seasons were horrendous. Only at season 3 and on did the show get better. Still I think the show still had its faults, some of them present from day one, such as Janeway always being right, her intuition always being correct and etc... I don't remember an episode where Janeway really really screwed up big time.

Next generation for me, then the original. I'm more a Star Wars guys though.
