Aetna to exit California's individual health insurance market

Aetna Inc. said it would stop selling individual health insurance policies in California next month, and nearly 50,000 existing policyholders will have to find new coverage by January.

Untied Healthcare is the nations largest health Insurance company and I believe Aetna is number 3 or 4, so with them both running for the exit only shows what a disaster Obama-care is going to be once fully implemented.

"I don't think this is a good result for consumers," said California Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones. "It means less choice, less competition and even more consolidation of the individual market with three big carriers."

They want insurance companies to be put out of business so that the government can take over.

If that is not socialism, then socialism never existed.

And anyone that thinks that government can do better than the private sector in that area, you are fooling yourself. All you have to do is look at Social Security and Medicaid.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Your response will be that insurance costs were going up anyway. The prices will be the last of your worries when you have to deal with more bureaucracy, lower quality in care and rationing.
