I have Tyson's bio doc so i'll comment on why he behaved like the animal he did.
It sold fights! He said crazy, stupid things because it drew attention to him. This is before you could stream fights online, so you had to buy it. Fucking guy was one of the most popular athletes on earth. Did he rape that girl? He says he didn't, but so does every other convicted rapist. That aside, his biting Holyfield's ear was in retaliation to repeated headbutts. He talks a lot of shit, but so did Ali, so does Mayweather. They all are/were great champions.
He changed his demeanor after converting to Islam and having a bunch of kids. He outgrew his flashy lifestyle.

he s just a dumb ass cause he wasnt able to manage both, while most people do. Another loser who automatically becomes a wise man because he realized what most people realize decades before he did. Actually he s looking for attention and it s quite pathetic. He now acts like a family man because these people actually support him now, without them he d be nothing. Hadnt he lost all the money, he would probably act a lot different.

you do realize his cameo in movies goes for 300 grand and a single daily appearance runs for at least 40-50 g`s. He is considered broke because he has gone bankrupt on a few levels but still makes serious money and lives like a king. His pocket could never be empty until the day he dies.
