it's possible to lose 2% per week
but once you get down to around 7% or so then it slows down

well, 14% to 4% in 10wks isn't impossible with the right drugs and dedication to diet.
and I don't know any fitness professional's who pay too close attention to those numbers, btw.

Ever seen those fat asses on The Biggest Loser? They routinely lose more than 1% per week by exercising up to 6 hours per day and diet.
It's just the folks closer to 10% body fat that should not AIM to lose more than 1-2 lbs per week as that is when muscle loss in increased too.

Never done an aggressive contest prep since....so I couldn't say. Just maintaining at high single digits and making good gains currently
