Title: Zimm juror: "I wanted to find him guilty of not using his senses..."
Post by: 240 is Back on July 16, 2013, 08:37:07 PM
wow... juror speaking on CNN... it seems at least this one believed zimm exaggerated his injuries.   sustained the head injury just from falling, probably wasn't slammed over and over.

but they still felt it wasn't quite manslaughter.  there was a holdout on the jury.  they revoted and everybody voted the same that time.  she took another 30 minutes to decide to vote not guilty.

"WE WANTED TO FIND HIM GUILTY OF SOMETHING - BUT COULDN"T, because of the way law was written."

"I wanted to find him guilty of not using his senses, ,but you can't charge people for that"

Exactly - overreacted, it wasn't right getting out of that car.  He started the whole ball rolling.  He should have stayed in the car.  he had good in his heart but went overboard.

Personally, I think history will look at the Prosecution and the law as why zimmerman walked.  jury wanted to give him SOMETHING, but there's currently nothing in the law against "starting the whole ball rolling".   You're allowed to start a situation then decide you wish to exit, oddly.

Juror said it wasn't about race.   Zimm said it wasn't about race.  Proseucition said it wasn't about race.  Judge woudn't even let them use the word.  It barely came up in the courtroom.

So everyone involved said it wasn't.

BUT since the clowns at msnbc + hannity and rush say it's all about race - mind you, they're not involved in the case one bit and they're being paid to rile up listeners - THEY said the trial is all about race.

I tend to believe those actually involved.  Race really did'nt come up in trial.

Holder wants to make it entirely about race.  The pressure to charge Zimmerman was racially motivated as was the reaction to the verdict.  The reprisals on innocent people are all about race.  You need to get out of your bubble.  You might not think its about race but for a lot of people it absolutely is and not strictly because of the media.  These people brought these feelings to the issue and the media gave them what they wanted.

Holder is only able to engage in this kind of pandering idiocy because he's still in office.

he figures "I can ship guns to bad guys, lies despite a mountain of evidence, and the top repub cop designated to stop me will spend his days over on FOX news preparing for a VP run eventually".

Fool me once, shame on holder.  At this point, we know he's a crook - and anyone not screaming for his ouster must endorse this kind of behavior.

You were wrong. Shut the fuck up and deal with it. One juror said that it was clear as day that he was not guilty and any discrepancies in his testimony wouldn't have changed that.

If they had "wanted to give him something" they would have.  ::)

It's hilarious watching you crash and burn after you lied through your teeth for nearly 2 years and then had the balls to guarantee a conviction.

Remember when you said the prosecution was saving their best for last? LOL!

240 and the others got way too emotionally attached to this case to see the reality of the piss poor case the DA presented

I don't know that he wants to but is looking at whether race was a factor

there apparently is some info (not included in the last case) that Zimmerman had a history of profiling black people and a history of racism

Personally, I think it's a stretch and there won't be enough (if anything) to enable him to proceed but it's certainly within the scope of his job for his department to look at it

to be fair they were talking about how they were approaching their case (the prosecution)

If there is other evidence that Zimm actions were racially motivated (and I've said before I think it's probably a stretch) then the Feds have every right and even a duty to look into that.

This is about race. Its about how friggen stupid the race baiting morons like Sharpton and Jackson are (both black) in that they jumped the gun thinking Zimmerman was white...I bet Sharpton thought he was a Jew or something. Had they realized that he was Hispanic...nobody would be paying any attention. Now our retard AG won't let it go after the FBI already said race was not invloved. How many DOJ organizations need to waste money on this shit. Maybe they could look into the murder rate in Chicago...oh wait those people are already beholden to obama and won't reslut in any net increase of votes.

This is about race

For those involved in the case - NO - it's not about race.  EVERY single one of them said so.

For those talking heads in the media - on the left AND the right - this is $$$ cashola race baiting city payday.  That's it.  Everyone involved in the case said it wasn't about race.  Only those on the outside with race obsessions say it's about race.

yes, a grown man detaining a child is illegal.  trayvon was justified to use his fists to stop the man from denying his liberty.

this doesn't exactly help your cause, 333386 lol

legally, yeah.   and really, ya gotta draw the line someplace.  If trayvon was 4'9" instead of 5'11", would it be okay?  Or 5 foot 11, and 12 years old?

the law draws the line at 18.  He's afforded a little extra protection (although sanford PD should have had him in jail already for the drugs).
