Title: Software for editing videos from my phone for youtube (and frame graber)
Post by: ESFitness on July 17, 2013, 08:18:00 PM
seeing as how I don't like the idea of begging/paying/bothering/coercing somebody to hold my camera/phone everytime I want to take a video, I've found it easier to set up a tripod and take quick clips of video (fitness stuff) and have an android app that has a frame-grabber feature that lets me take a pic from the video (taking a screenshot of the video produces a black screen).

*the gym is closed and empty when I do the videos. i'm not a weird guy carrying a tripod around the gym for all my workouts. lol

now, i'd like to edit out the non-usefull stuff like setting up the tripod, me walking away from the tripod/cam, me walking up to the tripod/cam, ect...

is there any worthwhile free software that allows this?

I believe I have a copy of photoshop elements somewhere (never installed it).

I see there are video editing apps for my phone, but i'd rather use my laptop.
