Isn't that an expensive blood test?
-
I don't understand the huge fascination with cleaning up the sport when ticket prices are so fucking high these days. Get what you pay for.

Yes, but they can afford it. What kills me, is the only performance enhancement with HGH is the recovery property. It's not a strength drug.

The kids, Joe....it's about saving the kids.
-
I feel safer already knowing NFL players are being drug tested.
-
About time they crack down on the NFL... ;D
-
Ray Lewis retired just in time...
-
I guess you can say goodbye to guys coming back 3 months later healthier than ever from career ending injuries.

Whatever. If there's any athletes that require GH and juice, it's American Football Players.

Exactly! I do not want drug free football players. If I want to watch slow & small people play football I'll watch tape of me in High School playing football.

I am unsure on this one too. My thinking is that the athlete using HGH can recover from his workouts faster? Therefore he can train longer and harder, thus he'll end up stronger than the athlete that doesn't use HGH? I don't know a ton about it.
-
how are they going to test, just look at the players IGF1 levels?
It's possible to be doing 10iu of 'magic' hgh a day and not have appreciably high IGF1 or IFGbp3 levels
its also possible to be completely natural and have IGF levels in the high 400's
-
Looks like Von Miller is going to be suspended 4 games for something.
-
I AM SO SICK OF THE FUCKING GOVERNMENT PUSHING THE TESTING FOR BASEBALL, FOOTBALL, ETC.....
WHEN WILL WE SEE THE GOVERNMENT GO THROUGH A BATTERY OF TESTS????
TO SEE IF THEY ARE ABUSING DRUGS, ALCOHOL, ETC.....WHEN WILL THE GOVERNMENT FACE SOME SCRUTINY???
GEITHNER DOESN'T EVEN PAY HIS TAXES........YOU KNOW HE'S NOT THE ONLY ONE.......HOW MANY PARTY ANIMAL DRUNKS ARE IN POLITICAL OFFICE.....THESE PRICKS ARE SO HYPOCRITICAL!!!
HELL......LET'S JUST DRUG TEST EVERYONE........HALLE BERRY......SEAN PENN.......CHARLIE SHEEN......ETC...

All the testing is getting out of hand. The witch hunts are back! At least the UFC allows "trt" for 25 year olds ;)
-
bwahahahahahahahaha
The only problem with this are the sheer amount of idiots I work with who will further use this to claim their worshiped players are all-natural.

Hockey is great though...everyone is probably juiced and no one gives a shit.

Nobody knows what HGH really does over long periods of time and at diff/types of doses..But studies show that HGH over long periods of time show Diabetes type II...The only people arguing this stat are people who are knee deep in HGH. Imop HGH may wreck lives over time...The same way alcohol does...

lol

Hockey and Basketball are given a free ride...Hockey because most people don't care and like football, they are full of pads and can't really see "the person"...Basketball they don't care because most of these guys have HGH problems to begin with...If you test a guy 6'10 for Hgh, most people would understand that his hgh levels will be much higher than the regular person.
-
if the nfl tests for gh, look for new unheard of players to breakout, inujuries wont be able to be played through, and older players will be forced to retire.

I agree with this....No more 15+ year careers unless you're a kicker. HGH has been in the NFL for at least 20 years, if not more.

only?
lol
do you know how valuable recovery is to an NFL player? its EVERYTHING.
-
You guys are missing a big point. They don't use HGH alone. They run small cycles of test. Remember the NFL's baseline for a failed test is a lot higher than just regular baseline. So guys can get away with TRT doses. Mark Schlerith compared it to a 35 mile an hour zone and the NFL only catches you if you are going higher than 150 MPH. We all know that HGH and Test combined has a synergistic effect. They can take smaller doses of test but get great benefits by coupling it with HGH. You'd have to go back to the 70's of football before steroids were big to see what the game would look like. 80's and 90's had some of the biggest Juicers. Remember Lloyd and Green who played with the steelers? Mike Golic who played in the late 80's admitted to taking juice after a surgery to help get his strength back. NFL and Steroids have a loooong history together.

-
golic played in the 80s when you could walk in a pharmacy and buy juice otc
-
More people would Test Positive in the NFL then in the IFBB for HGH
-
take away juice and gh, and all you have are a bunch of wide receivers running around at every position, except the fat guys on the O line

True.

That was my point. It's part of the NFL culture.

do you know how valuable recovery is to an NFL player? its EVERYTHING.
