But for all intents & purposes I think he can't win the big one again

He'll try to streamline ala the 2004 Arnold Classic. I don't think it'll work, cause if his quads are down in size, he has zero x-frame.

It's always best to go with the tried and true food poisoning. Up all night, diarrhea, vomiting, lost 15 lbs, had to drink a full gallon of water before pre-judging, your guru didn't think you'd make it onstage, etc.

He is smart enough to frame it as a win, and of course, his fans will agree. Shawn will be shaking his head with "how the F did I get owned? I said he'd miss the show, and he did'. Jay, of course, will paint it as his real mission was to get in competition shape, and he did that, so he wins.

My concern is just that he doesn't have the muscle he used to carry. He's trained *maybe* 6 to 8 of the past 24 months. Focusing on business, dealing with injury, etc - While Kai and Phil have been big as houses all that time.

Jay can get ripped and be in ust as good condition - but the problem is that he will look SKINNY as he's outmuscled by 15 or 20 pounds both both of them. There's a reason they train so much - because when Jay diets down, he'll get small.

Seriously? Kai kills everyone from the back. His detail is unreal head to toe, not even close. Jay took so long to win the Olympia because of his weak back.

He can come in shredded as all heck... he can be crazy diced... jay knows how to do that. But he'll lose a lot of size to do that. It worked before, when streamlined Jay won... but streamlined Jay was big as a fricking house, 12 weeks out. Jay has to grow INTO this show. In my opinion, that means he comes in looking skinny.

Jay is a champ with no aesthetic always won by mass alone and WOULD NOT BE in the Top 3 biggest guy on stage. I'd love to see how he can win it.
