Fixed....Good catch, although I'm sure if someone wants to find out about me, they will. Nice thing about not having to hide or lie about self.

Congrats Tedim

I'm really enjoying this business....it's not my main business but I must admit I do like this one, even though I'm not very active in it. The fabrication is the hook for me......plus I'm still a newb to this industry.

No, but they were. I pulled the beds off and put water tanks on them. I like Mack's, especially these ones. They have the 5 speed with the low settings for 1,2, and reverse. If you're on a job site, and need to haul the 40,000 pound load up a hill, they'll do it no problem too. I just took one on an eight hour trip, turned around two hours later and drove right back. I thought about getting a Granite, but for what I use them for, I don't need a pretty truck. I have an L8000 and an international 4700 as well, nothing as good as the Mack's though.  Do you do strictly roll offs, or demo too?

What do you need a 400lb bumper for?  You're not going to be ramming stuff, it just hurts your gas mileage? ???

Our international is on a contract site (processing plant 4-5 cans per day)......the rest do temp work. We sub demo work and just do roll off. We are looking to add a couple of day tractors and do dump trailer work.

But long term fabrication and full service bays....we can do in frame engine work on Mack's now my main mech is Mack certified house mouse from PA where I grew up. We're still small but growing couple more trucks some more contract work and we'll move into YELLOW METAL ;D

I had to fabricate all of my trucks. We had to add about seven feet to the ends of each one. We just got C channel and welded it, and reinforced it with plates. Had to get new light kits and what not too after we lengthened them. I thought about converting one of my tanks to a hook and go and buying a few cans, but then said fuck it. Where are you located, you said PA, are you anywhere near Marcellus Shale?

No I'm in North Georgia, and all mine are cable pull.

Would like to look into wrecker business but who has 350K for a truck?

I think it's funny when some douchebag trucker expects you to back up when they're making a turn, or not go around them when they're in the left lane making a right hand turn.  They act like they'll hit you, but they back down at the last minute.  Fuck them
