To be fair, I can see some museum trying to acquire the hoodie. It did become a symbol and perhaps it could be used to spark discussion in the future. But the Smithsonian? Really?

It's a pity to see that prestigious name sullied like this. I remember a time when the Smithsonian Institution stuck to its charter: the increase and diffusion of knowledge.
