Yeah, a little late but I was hesitate to get chalk everywhere. I found chalk that comes in a bag that you squeeze, a lot less messy. Actually i'm as strong as I was with straps and now my forearms will get worked. Paid 3.50 on Amazon for the product, it's the type of chalk bag a gymnast would use.

I didn't like it either, but in some gyms were you can't use chalk it would be beneficial.

I use regular chalk out of a container. when we are finished training I use a towel to swipe at the floor and disperse the chalk. no complaints about my chalk in years.

I used one brand years ago. I found it immensely helpful to spray both the hands AND the bar to be used.
