I just picked one of these things up, what a great product. Skeptical at 1st, about crushing nuts and seeds into dust, etc.
I got a juicer a year ago, really like the juice, but you end up throwing out all the pulp/fiber. Plus the 20 minute cleanup is ridiculous.
Drink I just made in the NutriBullet:
scoop of protein
banana
1 raw egg
2 scoops (10 gm) Creapure
1 scoop HMB
Tablespoon Natty Peanut Butter
scoop of oats
handful of pecans
teaspoon of ground flax seeds
6 oz Almond Milk
This thing ground everything into a drinkable liquid, unlike most blenders.
Yesterday I made a drink with carrots, kale, apples, ginger. Everything was ground into liquid and drank. No throwing out the good pulp/fiber.
Cleanup is a 1 minute rinse under faucet. (Not 20 mins of scrubbing a juicer).
Love this thing.. And only 99.00 at The Walmart...

Hmm...
I'll be curious to see how long it/its performance holds up for under $100. I'm going to check back with you in several months. If you're still satisfied, I may buy one or two for at home and work.

I have a Ninja that's been completely abused for a year now. I even use it to grind meat sometimes.
Very satisfied

I bought the Aldi version a few weeks ago for $14.99. I figure it would be good for chopping up small amounts of herbs, garlic, nuts, and other tidbits. Inspired by this thread, I hauled it out of the box and decided to give it a whirl. Threw in a couple handfuls of blueberries, some Fage yogurt, a smidge of peanut butter and a little Splenda (my usual snack just stirred in a cup). Worked great! HOWEVER, I strongly advise against this little concoction. It had the weirdist consistency ~ kinda like jello. I put the remains in the freezer for a snack later and it turned into a rock solid ball. Maybe I'll try some pesto later.

Will do. I read a review that it doesnt mash up carrots and beets very well. I'll test it out and see.

If you cut them up into pieces before putting them in, it should help. It's not a Vitamix!

1 scoop HMB
By the way, where did you buy HMB in non-encapsulated form?

Please report back.
So I got the nutribullet and have used it a couple of times. Made a carrot smoothie and a mixed berry concoction. I guess. Im not adding enough water because its still a bit thick. How perishable is the juice. I want to take a veggie mix to work. As long as its in the fridge it should be fine but can it be kept out in the open for 4-5 hrs without going bad.
Anyone have any good mixes to share?

Didnt yours come with the recipe book? Yes, you need to add enough water to make it a drink.
I havent really tried any recipes, I just use what I have handy. (Apples, carrots, spinach, etc)...

Juice will be fine, but it will separate. Try it with a 1/2 granny smith. Or, a pinch of cinnamon You can add spinach to just about anything and it won't change the flavor much. You could always keep it in a little lunch cooler or put the container in a ziploc filled with ice or ice packs. Even wrapping the container in one of those koozie things will help retain some temp.

A stainless steel thermos with a few ice cubes may also help.

the wife uses frozen berries in hers and takes a thermos full to work everyday, I tried it for a couple weeks and it gave me the trots.

Okay smart ass
I wonder if my elementary school teachers ever saw the irony in telling my classmates and me to "don't act smart."

Another example of throwing a drink together, this AM I did:
Spinach
1 Egg
Banana
Blueberries
Scoop of Creapure / D-Asparic Acid mixture
Teaspoon of Flax Seeds
Teaspoon of Olive Oil
Packet of Amino Acids I found in my cabinet (bb.com free sample)
Fill with Almond Mild
Like Princess mentioned (I think) you cant even taste the spinach...

These fuckers are great for mixing up protein powder! Eliminates those "nuggets" that get stuck to the side and bottom of regular blenders. This thing is a regular blender after a year of a gh15 cycle! Get one if you hate the powder caking on the side of your blender and also if you want to do that sissy juicing stuff you limp wristed fairy.
