A cool press release...
Flex Wheeler, world champion bodybuilder and, has teamed up with Coast 2 Coast Choppers of Orlando, Florida to design and build the “Flex Wheeler Chopper” or FWC, a new series of custom motorcycles to bring the same show-quality muscle to the bike world. Two styles of bike will be offered: the Signature Series and the Pro Series. The Signature Series will be a high-end custom bike with sleek hand-fabricated metal work. This bike will also offer the best components on the market, such as: a Patrick Racing 128” billet motor, Baker six-speed, Billet 4-U 4” chromed belt drive, a monster 330 rear tire and much more. The Pro Series will be a more affordable model still using top-notch components.
Flex’s lifetime passion for riding brought him to several bike shows at the beginning of 2005 where he started exploring the idea of a custom bike that was an affordable, top-of-the-line bike that aspires to be a show bike but rides like a street bike. The idea generated a lot of interest among the bike enthusiasts that Flex spoke to, from the hardcore bikers, to law enforcement officers, to weekend warriors.
Flex considered several different cycle designers, both large and small, before selecting Coast 2 Coast Choppers. When asked why Coast 2 Coast was his choice for this venture, Flex replied “I met with a rep of Coast 2 Coast at a major bodybuilding event in early 2005. I was very impressed with the sexy lines and muscular stance of their bikes and also their level of professionalism. The decision for me to team up with them was a no-brainer.”
Coast 2 Coast is a hungry young company that has won several shows and gained a lot of respect in the industry over the last two years. The company motto is “More for Less”. They saw Flex’s vision of the FWC as a quality custom bike that is affordable to anyone from a cop to the high-end, but is very street worthy. Jeremy Rogers, President of Coast 2 Coast Choppers, states “We are very excited to be involved with such a huge superstar and look forward to a very bright future with Flex.” Flex Wheeler’s worldwide notoriety brings a great growth opportunity to this partnership and a chance to share his passion for motorcycles with a global audience.
Both the FWC Signature Series and the Pro Series bikes will be unveiled for the first time at the Road to the Pros booth at the 2006 Arnold Classic and Fitness Weekend in Columbus, OH, March 3-5, 2006

Jeez man, did you even really need to post this? Have a fun thread guys... ;D
-
Absolutely - Flex fans want to know!
-
Seems like a pretty poor business decision for them. Flex Wheeler is hardly a national celebrity.
They would be better off with a hilary duff custom.
No hate.. just pointing out, how many people are going to be seduced into purchasing this bike because flex has something to do with it.
Maybe he knows something good about bikes though.. Maybe it will just be a good bike to buy.
-
You'd be suprised, i have always thought there was a huge connection with the muscle scene and the bike scene.
Obviously, they would not be doing this unless they had a bit of research done into the possible sales etc.
-
Sounds kinda gay..............Hmmmm. half naked bodybuilder sprawled out on the gas tank..........Uh,,,,,,,,,,no!
BAYGAY - We just found your skooter
-
will the rough ride F-up my kidneys? Just wondering
-
Absolutely - Flex fans want to know!
Thank you.
-
He should have hooked up with West Coast Choppers for better exposer!
-
You know some ninjas are gonna jack that bike.
-
A 330 tire? I hope you aint gonna try and turn that thing. It would probally stand up on it's own, no sidestand needed.

LOL - I think he is just putting a seat on the tire. Now it is afforable...
-
It sounds like a smaller company trying to get some exposure and Flex was about as far as they could get in repsects to a celebrity. Too bad they couldn't find someone more popular or mainstream to help lanch their company.

Isn't Craig Titus mainstream now ;D?

Flex is played out.
lol
i was trying to be generous
-
A lot of gays will buy the bike so he should do well
-
Of course Flex would say this trash.
These guys are floating the bills for awhile.
I would bet Flex's kidneys...that if W.C.C. offerred him a deal...he would've jumped on it over these guys in a heart beat.
Jesse doesn't need exposure....& would never pay Wheeler a cent for publicity.
Shit....he customized alot of rides for stars even Shaq. Don't even try to compare Shaq with Wheeler.
-
They can put Flex's head on the gs tank upside down with his mouth wide open. So when the rider is sitting it looks like Flex is taking him all in. Yes I now see where this company is heading with it's marketing.
-
What a terrible, terrible business decision. Bodybuilding and custom choppers - what a perfect match. Why didn't I think of that before? ::)
-
You know some ninjas are gonna jack that bike.
I was *kinda* waiting for that reply to come along... ;D
I love the Press Release talking about "huge superstar"...
Hopefully this will be something positive for Wheeler though. It would be nice to see him being able to build on his bodybuilding legacy, nice to see him make a good living for himself. Seeing guys like Padilla begging for money, like a few years ago, it makes at least me feel bad.
YIP

The chopper is said to hold a lot of extra oil...strategically placed,of coarse.
-
Flex isnt the first 'average joe' with zero formal education in designing motor vehicles to give it a go.
I'm sure its all going to work out fine :)

Most of the bike builders seems to have minimal education; Billy Zane's one exception. Besides which, Flex's involvement doesn't mean he's covering the technical end.

i just don't know how i feel about doin 100 miles an hour on something Flex knocked up

Unless he has some previous experience, he's just lending his name to it.
-
what happened with the Olympia web cast debacle. Did Flex ever pay anyone back for the bad service?

Hope those bike guys have a water-tight legal contract.........

I was gonna post but every though I had has already been tackled from every possible angle.
-
I would never buy anything assoc. with flex wheeler ever again after the whole hardbody fiasco.
-
This thread cracks me up ;D
-
Write them and tell them what you think about Flex and his business dealings.

Big deal, a company pays Flex to use his name on a chopper in hopes to make it sell better. Doesn't make the bike any better.
