Title: Just watched RAW for first time in a while...
Post by: LurkerNoMore on August 12, 2013, 08:20:55 PM
Slater has the worst bitch tits ever to grace television.  Ugggh!

And what are these garters that Antonio is supposed to be wearing?  Looks as stupid as the thigh pads Ahmed used to wear.

Khali is still a piece of shit and needs to be put out to pasture.

Its really bad at times. It will never be what it use to. Antonio is very underrated and miss used. Watch some of his stuff from ROH.
I hate the divas. When they come on I fast forward and the fans in the audience go to the merch stand.

The Diva's are awful.  They don't seem to achieve anything at all, crappy backstage promo's followed by 3 minute matches.  They managed to botch a completely simple submission finish on Raw, with Natalya releasing the sharpshooter before AJ had tapped, and then having to put it back on just to get the proper finish.

The 3 hours have killed the content, there's so much filler now it gets boring quickly.  Combined with lazy storylines, it's not a great product right now.  I tend to stick it on while I'm doing computer work, and fast forward through the majority.

I know that Mid Atlantic with Bob Caudle will never be back.  Neither will Georgia Championship Wrestling with Gordon Solie.

Just not worth watching what is on nowadays.

The product is awful, i havent sat and watched a full match for a number of years now and certainly wont watch a show live. Its painful, i actually find myself appreciating TNA more ad more for some of the things they are doing - i dont know if its because wrestling is so stale but i loved the reformation of MEM. They go out on a limb and give chances to guys like Anderson, Bully Ray, Roode, Aries etc to take the strap and run with it as far as they can. Theres still alot of crap but in a direct comparison it kills WWE.

Neither could wrestle but could talk, but not as the king Ric Flair.

Classics.  Gordon would wax poetic about Jackson before Buzz Sawyer would beat him like a circus monkey. Remember the half green and half yellow singlet he wore?

Yes...sometime a half red half blue...Gordon would go on about his "electric speed"  ::)

And one of the jobbers was supposedly offered an athletic scholarship to a big-time college...he went to that college, but insisted on taking an academic scholarship instead  ::)

"The Angel"  hahahahahahaha

Some of the "jobbers" I saw I later learned were former top guys just finishing out their careers:  Swede Henson, Abe Jacobs, etc.
