The Dennis Wolf Diptych (1962) is a silkscreen painting by Dutch pop artist Marcel Bergsma, who is also known as Tito24.

History and analysis.

The work was completed during the weeks after Wolf's latent near kidney failure in August 2013. It contains twelve images of the German bodybuilder, which are all based on a single publicity photograph from the film The Mayor's double dildo revenge (2012).
The twelve pictures on the diptych are brightly colored. It has been suggested that the relation between the left side of the canvas and the right side of the canvas is evocative of the relation between the celebrity bodybuilder's life and death, which has not yet set in.[1][2][3]
The piece is currently owned by Yaroni Avidan. In a august 2013 article in The Guardian, the painting was named the third most influential piece of modern art in a survey of 500 artists, critics, and others.[4]
