http://politicaloutcast.com/2013/08/obamacare-provision-mandatory-home-inspections/#FsYjcysszWCZhIE3.01
“This is not a ‘voluntary’ program.
The eligible entity receiving the grant for performing the home visits is to identify the individuals to be visited and intervene so as to meet the improvement benchmarks. A homeschooling family, for instance, may be subject to ‘intervention’ in ‘school readiness’ and ‘social-emotional developmental indicators.’ A farm family may be subject to ‘intervention’ in order to ‘prevent child injuries.’ The sky is the limit. Although the Obama administration would claim the provision applies only to Medicaid families, the new statute, by its own definition, has no such limitation.
Intervention may be with any family for any reason.
It may also result in the child or children being required to go to certain schools or taking certain medications and vaccines and even having more limited – or no – interaction with parents. The federal government will now set the standards for raising children and will enforce them by home visits.”
Just another mandate from Obamacare, which will be enforced to “protect the children.”

Does the affordable healthcare act really look all that great now?
I wonder now, how tight-knit families, religious families will stand by this mandate-which is letting the government have the right to encourage their thinking on your families rights.
The controversy will be pretty huge, will people be able to put their beliefs and rights aside, of not being able to think for themselves, (or what is right for thier children) on which is a proper "end" when choice is disregarded.
I have been working in the OR as a PA, for almost, 8years, sofar, my reimbursements have been already cut to 85%, and it will get lower, surgeons now (elder), are first assisting, and if you don't have the Certificates of added qualifications, (CAQS) you are pretty much working in a inner-city or family medicine clinic for peanuts.
It's also gone to where many of my peers, are either being ask to reduce their hours, our have been terminated, to save money.
The affordable healthcare act. LoL, Just wait for the docs to chime in.

And well will all go together when we go...

Can one of you gentlemen, who have read the law in its entirety, show me where exactly it states this?
I read it about a year ago and can't remember anything relating to home inspections.
Can someone please tell me where in the ACA would this clause be found?
Here it is in its entirety:

I'm convinced there is only ONE reason why the left and Obama want gun control (they actually want to seize guns)....civil unrest. There's a damn good reason why he's the protected person (I refuse to call him "president") on the face of the planet. This fucker should be incognito for the rest of his life when he get's out. Shouldn't be in there in the first place.

It is.
Bullshit.

There's the pertinent part without all the hyperbole. It definitely looks like one of those things that's going to be troublesome, wait till you see how each state out does one another to get their hands on that government loot.

no one in Canada or Europe spends over a day in the E.R. waiting to be treated. That is not uncommon at County USC for non-life threatening but still serious injuries.
one friend, makes near minimum wage, company doesn't offer health insurance, can't get individual insurance because of a pre-existing condition, tore his bicep. spent 27 hours at County USC. go to this dept get an x ray. wait. see doctor. go here to get an mri. wait. see doctor. need to see a specialist. wait. specialist says really nothing we can do. sends him home.
another friend cut his finger down to the tendon. went to one of those walk-in clinics. saw doctor. doc took a look and said he needed to see a specialist to reattach tendon, go to County USC. That one only took 11 hours.

Tim, this shit isn't free. You can't base an entire system based on a few experiances. People cone to this country for medical for a reason. Also Canada doesn't even come close to the population of the US.

I'm with you here coach and the people who have been paying and will be paying for the others care should have some sort of indicator on their insurance card to be seen ahead of those that don't.

Wanna bet the reason the wait at the USC hospital is so long is because there were 18 tomato pickers with no health insurance using the ED as their primary care doc?

Yes, County USC is the Los Angeles county (ie public) hospital, where everyone who doesn't have insurance ends up. Get into an auto accident in Beverly Hills? Cedars Sinai ER is required by law to treat you. But as soon as you're stable, you get shipped over to County USC. (There is also Olive View out in the SF Valley that is public) We the tax payers foot the bill for the county hospitals.
That is the whole purpose of Obamacare. Everyone is suppose to have insurance. If you are poor, the government will subsidize the insurance premiums. When you have insurance, you can go to the hospital closest to you. When you have insurance, you can see a primary care physician long before it becomes necessary to go to the ER.
For the vast majority of people who already get their medical insurance through an employer sponsored group plan, nothing changes with Obamacare. Oh except you can continue to keep your kids on the group plan until they're 26. And you can keep the group plan if you decide to change jobs.
Obamacare is not what we on the left wanted at all. Single payer is the logical solution. (If it is good enough for the elderly, then why isn't it good enough for the rest of us?) Obamacare is a plan created by the right wing Heritage Foundation. It is a boondoggle for insurance companies. the right is against it only because it is Obama's signature legislation.

It's not logical because you're talking money out of the pockets of hard working people who already pay in to a private health care provider. Not only does it take away from the quality of health care by not having competition (capitalism) now you'll have every hospital be like County USC on which the wait for damn near anything is 2-3 hours and that's just to get into an exam room only to wait LONGER for the Dr. to get to you. And this is NOW. What's the wait going to be when this so called "Obamacare" kicks in and everyone and their mother is coming in for a hangnail when you have a cardiac patient waiting behind?
Not only that, there WILL be less Dr's because who the hell want's to work 90hrs a week for limited pay? You can care about people all you want, but if you go to school for 8-10 years (another thing that won't happen because students will be detoured from going to med school) you sure as hell don't want to work for whatever they offer.
These are not talking points, Tim. This is commonsense.

i dont even feel like reading this shit anymore, i just presume that things will cost more , afro-americans should get more spare change and thats the end of the discussion

Makes their job easier... with our money.
Pretty cool tradeoff. Brilliance at its finest.
Careful in Texas and the South... someone might actually stand up for their rights.

there is no evidence for any of your claims.
1) you're already paying for the uninsured through taxes to pay for the county hospital system. but that is a very inefficient way to deliver health care. if everyone has insurance, they can see a primary care physician for most of their needs. They can get preventative care, which is much cheaper than waiting until you have no choice but go to the ER
2) all hospitals perform triage. the ones with life threatening conditions always go to the front of the line
3) Obamacare is not nationalized medicine, like the UK, where the doctors are government employees. Today doctors can charge what ever they want. But today insurance companies decide what they're willing to pay. Doctors can accept that or decide not to take insurance. The only difference with Obamacare is more people will have insurance.
4) Every industrialized country has national health care except for the US. There is no shortage of doctors due to limited pay.
5) Today if you have an HMO, you have managed care. Everything has to be pre-approved by the insurance company or their representatives. If you don't want an HMO, you can choose a different kind of plan. That does not change under Obamacare.
The bottom line is that over the last 30 years our health care system has been inching it's way towards collapse. The rate of inflation for health care has been much greater than the overall rate of inflation. Fewer and fewer people have insurance. The county (public) systems are near the breaking point. Obviously capitalism has failed.
If Obamacare fails, then the only way to deliver health care to the masses will be an expansion of Medicare and Medicaid. That's single payer. That is the insurance industry's biggest fear. Just enough people will leave the private insurance plans that they won't have a big enough pool to compete.

USA is new Soviet Union. Stupid Americanos. Fighting the USSR for decades and now you elected a commie HAHAHA
