Title: Taking Risks
Post by: the trainer on August 27, 2013, 12:15:15 PM
In my line of work there is no pension when you retire so I have being saving, bank account, fixed deposits, bonds, but the returns on these kind of things are not very high, the kind of investments in the market place that give high returns are also risky and I dont want to lose any of my saving, have you guys done risky investments, did you lose money what was it like.

rental real estate, I do commercial only.....5000-10,000 strip centers. Excellent return, unbelievable return when paid off. Only buy with AT LEAST 40% or more down!

Collectibles but that requires years of knowledge and experience.

I really don't understand you guys. You have to be out of your mind to ask strangers on a bodybuilding site about investment experiences they have had. 80% of what you hear will be a lie from people that probably do not have jobs. You can get this advice in much better places. You know this

If u don't take any risk u won't make any money. Invest in stocks that are close to u. Like if u wear a lot of Nike buy NKE, if u wear Calvin Klein buy PVH, like to eat McDonald buy MCD, have Verizon for your cell phone get some VZ. It is that simple. One rule always reinvest the dividends FTW.
