I work Shite hours with a lot of down time so I use the iphOne a lot to watch vids. I only get like 4 hours On a full charge. How can I up this?

Buy a cheap ipad, they all get 10 hours playback

Videos will drain no matter what. As a general rule of thumb, do the following.
Turn off location services.
Turn off GPS.
Turn off BlueTooth.
Double tap home button and press and hold apps and close them out.
Reduce screen brightness.
And last but definitely not least...
Don't get an iPhone if you need a good battery. There are plenty of other phones that have an immensely better battery than any iPhone.
