Lee has always had a "roundness" to his bicep, but it is so painfully obvious that he now has a NEW kind of "roundness" to his bicep. If you can't see the difference who cares?

Yes, but we are not just comparing him to short bodybuilders. We are comparing him to all bodybuilders. There are many bodybuilders, tall and short, that looked horrendous and should never ever have stepped on a pro bodybuilding stage (palumbo, greg kovacs, etc). How some bodybuilders get pro cards is beyond comprehension, let alone place in top 6 at competition. At least he always came in with a tight waist and good abs, which cant be said for most bodybuilders these days.
I dont think he is disappearing in this shot, though he is not standing next to the likes of someone like ronnie coleman

In the era Priest competed in he was never a real threat to the top guys. He was a self-hyped, great white hope. Unfortunately he only dabbled in the truth. The paradox with Priest was that people really tried to like and support him, but his actions and incessant excuses would alienate his fans.

Yes, lee had big arms, and he definitely did not have the biggest anything else. But he always came in conditioned and in shape. By that alone, he cannot be discounted.

Branch Warren winning current contests has nothing to do with Lee Priest being overrated compared to the BBers of his era.
It is not a discussion about whether his physique was "horrible". The guy ran his mouth like he was a white version of Lee Haney and we wasn't even top ten during the time he competed. His bullshit and absurd claims got old.
