It's okay, the fact that it's based on a true story actually saves it - if it was purely fiction it would be pretty crap - the realisation at the end that criminals actually attempted to pull this off makes you laugh at how unbelievably stupid some people are.

I've found some lesser known dtv or vod/limited release stuff is better than the shit hollywood churns out consistently

I agree. There are no Goodfellas, Shawshank, Kalifornia type of movies these days. Sure, some decent stuff pops up, but I don't even go rent movies even for a buck.

I is very good. It's not just a crapy musclehead's movie. Well done, funny and intriguing, a lot of unespected things troughout the whole two hours.
Based on truly events.
Best movie i have in quite some time. Much better than i expected.
