A week to go.
Need to see the weigh ins to make final prediction.
-
I hope FMJ can still keep winning and finish with zero losses
-
For as high caliber of a fight as this is, the hype has been surprisingly low.

Don't need hype, the fight has record sales and Mayweather has a record payday.
The world will be watching
-
Canelo - lucky KO by round 3.
Otherwise Mayweather Jr by ko or decision.

I think Che was referring to Getbig...I'm referring to the fact that this is the biggest fight since Oscar vs PBF and even Manny vs Cotto, yet the buzz doesn't seem quite as big as it was for those two fights. I honestly think Showtime is part of the reason.

Floyd by KO?
Hahahahaha, it's not 2001 and this fight is at 154......err, 152

I conveniently left out Vic Ortiz too
No way Floyd knocks out Canelo. He will most definitely land some good shots on the Red Head, but no way he even drops him, much less stops him.

Canelo will win the first few rounds, then Floyd will get on his bycicle and win a boring decision once he gets his timing, typical Floyd fight, stylistically Canelo has nothing for Floyd other than power.
-
Canelo won't even get close enough to Floyd to use any power. His only chance with his right is if he lands something perfectly timed, a la Shane Mosely.

We talked about this fight for awhile when it got signed.
I'm sure Canelo will give Mayweather his toughest test yet.
Defeating him is another story.

this is about it. canelo is too slow, doesn't have great foot work either.

Floyd doesn't bother risking going for KO unless he needs too. Floyd is a very calm and calculating fighter.
You also seem to be completely overlooking how much Floyd Mayweather improved his 2/cross over the years.
That and the shoulder roll chin tuck...
