thats insulting Barry.  Reggie is built on peds hence all his injuries and gets tossed team to team.

Sanders was bigger mass wise and could take hits better than Reggie, but Bush is better at receiving passes and a bit more agile alas at the expense of physical toughness. Both Snaders and Bush probably took something I believe almost all NFL players take something.

Great game today, but he's no Barry. Barry IMO is the GOAT.

Comparing Reggie Bush to Barry??? Maybe for a play here and there, but Reggie is a career 2nd string back. Maybe as College players

At least thanksgiving wont be a total waste of a game with him and Johnson to watch

Rec   Tgt   Yds   Avg   Long   TD   FumL
Reggie Bush   4   8   101   25.3   77   1

Reggie Bush   21   90   4.3   12   0   0

bush will give you a game like this every 5-6 weeks and you finish the season with a losing record like miami both seasons with him. i don't have to watch the nfl to know minnesota's defense still blows.  ask the saints what they think about reggie.  when the hype wore off miami sent him packing.  lion turf will destroy his knees.

Sanders would have been INCREDIBLE if he played on the 49ers or any real team.  Defenses could focus on him and he was STILL that good.

These days, he'd demand a trade to a contender where he could shine even more.

There is a difference between elusiveness and agility, Sanders is the greatest RB of all time no doubt about that but you gotta admit, agility wise Reggie is a beast his USC highlights are ridicolous

I agree on both statements, bush could/should have a career kind of like Hershel walker.i am not comparing bush to walker ,Herschel was great and really made himself a nice career, and remember keith byars he was reminiscent of that as well.

The use of AAS in NFL has been rampant for a while now. Probably way worse now then when Sanders was playing. Remember he played with virtually no QB for diversion and no O-line for protection. He basically created his opportunities on his own (Emmitt Smith was great but must have been a pretty sweet thing to have that O-line, Aikman, Irvin and Novacek with him). Bush has yet too prove himself worhty of being in the same sentence as Sanders.

I think Bush had a pulled groin and a fractured thumb( ???) after yesterday's game. Bush is made out of glass.

MOST RUNNING BACKS SINCE SANDERS RETIRED STILL CAN'T CARRY BARRY'S JOCK.

Barry would have had the rushing record. He retired like a boss. Plus he was tired of playing for the dogshit lions. Imagine if he was on the Cowboys  :o

If he had played for the Cowboys, nobody would be talking about Adrian Peterson breaking any record. Youngsters would be going "Dickerson who?".

impossible.  if this is true, his body can't hold up to indoor turf.  he had very few injuries in miami.  i guess someone didn't scout this.  saints part II in detroit.  you get his speed on artificial grass but he can only give your 5-7 games a season.

I WONDER IF HE WAS PROUD TO BE A LION IN THE END.

If I remember, the Lions would not allow Barry out of his contract. He wanted to go to another team.

I thought that ,but wasn't sure.yeah imagine him tho on another team who know's.he was incredible for the 10 or so yrs he played.payton, dickerson, terrel davis, emmitt, marcus allen,ect...some fine backs...riggo riggins.barry was unique to say the least, guys like Hershel/ricky Williams imagine if they had made a run at the record.hershel was great 2 way threat tho.

Dolphins should never have gotten rid of Bush! They had twenty yards rushing yesterday!
