Why in the USA if a blind person is able to have a gun are they not left drive ?
I think you meant to ask,"In the USA if a blind person can legally own a gun, why are blind people not allowed to have a driver's license?"
It that is your question, the answer is simple: With a gun, a blind person can steal or commandeer any car he or she wants, and hence there is no need for a license.

Why in the USA if a blind person is able to have a gun are they not left drive ?
When I was I high school, I got suspended for tailgating a.blind person on his bike while I was driving through the school parking lot. When I got sent to the principal, he said, did you know that boy was blind? My reaction "if he's blind, then what's he doing on a bike? Didn't go over well!

There's a difference between owning a car, and driving one.

you are of course absolutly right but a driving licence is a permit to drive (on a public road) not a permit to own the relevant vehicle
