Im really proud of my wife, so with her permission I'm posting some pics from her transformation.
When she got pregnant, I was going through my heroin addiction problem and we were both eating like complete shit. We both gained obscene amounts of weight, i gained a bill and she gained 70 lbs... Well, under my tutelage, she's down almost 80 lbs. Once I convinced her that she wouldn't turn into a man by lifting weights, and she really got serious with her diet, her body literally starting transforming right before her eyes.
She's in the best shape of her life and her self-esteem is at an all time high... but less from how good she looks and more from the fact that SHE made the changes herself, that she did it, she created the body that is staring back at her in the morning.
She want's to keep going until she gets into the high singles/low doubles BF%. I've lost 85lbs and completely changed my body comp, but she has made the far more dramatic change, being that she was a complete gym n00b when we started this transformation. (that and I still look like shit, HTH)

She lost a couple pounds off and on in March... we REALLY started hitting it in April....
Id say about 7-8 months. Now that were both down to a semi-reasonable BF level, were starting to up the intensity and really nail the diet. She want to get to 10%, and we both want her to get a set of bolt-ons..... I'm thinking it would be a good way to spend our tax return money. ;D

Thanks. Mine ok, I'm down to 235 from 310, still a lot to go though. My limbs, delts, traps, etc are coming in, but im still carrying a spare tire though, all my fat goes right around my waist and won't go until Im shredded everywhere else... it pisses me off. Pretty sure there is a ton of intra-abdominal fat as well.

Very basic... Primary focus is calories, and then just a rough breakdown of macros...
Breakfast - Eggs/toast
Snack - whey protein w/ oats
Lunch - Chicken/Steak w/brown or white rice
Dinner - Top Sirloin/Filet Mignon w/brown or white rice

Yes, my wife knew about my addiction... if she wasn't pregnant and gaining weight rapidly (and losing self esteem even more rapidly), we'd be divorced right now. As I said above, I just had a repaspe after more than a year sober.... and it's been tense around here. Luckily we love each other a lot, and we both give each other a bit of leeway..... but I'm rapidly running out. Lol. If I was to continue using I have no doubt that she'd leave.
I won't let that happen, I love her too much and I'm not going to let go of her, I've never been with someone I care about so much... I didn't even notice when she had gained all that weight.... she still doesn't believe me, but I told her that I wasn't going to leave her, that I didn't care how she looked and if she was that upset I'd help her out and we'd get the weight of her......... well, voila. Her hardwork and dedication is really paying off.

She told me once that her motivation was looking around the gym and seeing the obese whales on the treadmill walking at 1.0mph, day in, day out, never changing... and that she never, ever, wanted to be that woman weighing 250lbs with a size small thong and 3 sizes to small shirt showing of their rolls.
She also said that laughing at the fat people helped push her through grueling cardio sessions. :D

I commend you for putting your and your wife's personal life out there like this. We all learn from others successes and mistakes, so thank you for this on behalf of those who have suffered drug addiction.
My wife and I have had our trial and struggles though the years, our love for each other won the day. Seems like you may have that kind of love for each other as well.
Good move suggesting weight lifting. I suspect a lot of women believe they will turn into a masculine muscle freak if they lift, and the truth is that will not happen unless they have or they screw up their female hormonal balance by using PED's. I know a few women who lost weight and toned their bodies by lifting weights. Muscle burns more fat then just fat does. Gaining muscle for those who want to be lean is a win, win choice.

From experience I know that losing that amount of weight is a big transformation for your body.

I must have missed his quote. Not quite sure what you're getting at here. We actually get the meat mostly in bulk, cheap. It really doesn't cost that much to eat Top Sirloin every night... once a week we have either Filet Mignon, Sushi, Lobster, or something that jumps out at us.
