Spent a week in Death Valley and climbing some mountains.
The highest summit in the contiguous US. 14,494 feet. Mountain climbing is good cardio (keeping it bodybuilding related).

Would drag my balls 14,494 feet over the highest summit in the contiguous US just to hear her fart through a walkie talkie.
-
I'm not comfortable with you that close to the edge.
-
Nice job man. How long did it take? How high did you start your hike from? Did you do Mt. Whitney or somewhere near Mammoth?
-
Either I'm suffering from low T or that pic is rather disgusting.
I think you suffer frim wanting a vitamin "C" injection.

Awesome pic man. How long did it take you to get to where you are in the pic?

Nice pic, some impressive climbing there. 15,000 feet for me to climb would probably be unthinkable. I was climbing in Scotland a few weeks ago and did Ben Lomond - just over 3,000 feet so nothing in comparison. I'm doing Ben Nevis late next spring - the highest peak in the UK so once I've done that I'll hang up the hiking boots.
-
I hiked/climbed somewhere in Colorado around 7000ft from where we started ro the end. Not sure of the total elevation but I was smoked.
Great pic tommy.

I was at 7200 ft. above sea level this weekend but I was in my jeep ;D

You are lying. Really your job entails you to wash people's feet, and you wanted to brag without being made fun. You really washed a record 14,494 feet last Friday.

I'm comforted by the fact that the number of feet was an even integer. Washing feet on a one legged woman named peggy just ain't right.

Not the right location for a backflip.. stunning pic
-
Perfect photo for Tbombs to make an appearance...

Thanks EDB. 7.5 hours up, an hour on the summit, and 6.5 hours down. One cat in the group fell apart on the climb and I was the most experienced one there so I stayed with him and we summited together. We started at the Portal. It was in fact Mt Whitney.

Thanks Wiggs. Sorry I missed you last month in Vegas.

the start of the trail is at 8,300 ft up for those of you that are interested. You must have a permit, or that freaking ranger who hides around Mirror Lake will stop you. Did you get the permits in advance? That first part to Lone Pine Lake kicked my ass when we did it. Then we rested at Mirror Lake for like an hour :)
Impressed you went all the way in one day. Many people stay at the Trail Camp which is around 12,200 feet or so. And you had great weather!!!!
-
Thanks Ron. ;) We had permits but the ranger was not there. Nice weather indeed. Two nights earlier they had snow and sleet about 13,600. Mid 30's on the summit when we were there.
Great place to visit and Death Valley is right next door.
-
Wish we could get mountains without snow, but no one here can be bothered to wipe it off them.

I think hiking is some of the best cardio one can do plus it's a way to enjoy nature

Tommy, you are "Legend"! Nicely done!
