Tough luck ain't happening
These days no one wants to be a laker
The lakers need them more than they need the lakers
Mediocre team at best

“I think the Lakers are going to go to the NBA Finals,” World Peace told ESPN New York. “I think Kobe’s gonna be healthy, they’re gonna get Pau. The Lakers are gonna make a big trade like they always do. They will get Carmelo. They’re gonna get another good player, boom, boom, and they’re gonna go to the Finals. I believe it. Kobe’s gonna come back, he’s gonna play team ball, and Pau’s gonna play well.”

Why would you buy into this? It would cost him 33million dollars. He loves being the face of the Knicks.
The Lakers will get someone washed up like a Steve Nash. They need to start with a best coach
-
I am just asking. Where is our forum NBA expert, QB?
-
why would carmelo go to LA? Kobe is a jerk that doesn't like to share the ball. Carmelo is a 'volume' scorer... gimme the ball and get outta the way.
Now, if Kobe retired, you can bet Carmelo would go to LA, mayyybe. But why not NY?

Carmelo isn't coming to LA and I'm glad. He is a great scorer but not a great basketball player in my opinion. Not particularly smart, not particularly focused, never in great shape, etc.
LA is old, injured and not very deep. Just making the playoffs will be an accomplishment. They will not be wining the Larry O'Brien trophy this year.
