Turn up your speakers.
The Lexus RC is the coupe version of the 2014 Lexus IS. The RC-F is the high performance variant, which will go up against the BMW M4...Now here is the weird part, apparently the 2014 IS-F (sedan) will be the current generation (2006-2013) until Lexus decides to make a sedan version of this new generation.
And the production RC-F will have a V8, whereas the race version has a turbo 2.0 four cylinder.
Enjoy

Well, who knows how much that race car is pumping out.
But, in street cars, the Lexus doesn't compete with that Porsche...
Lexus/Toyota takes it's sweet merry ol time coming out with a coupe.

At least the Lexus is an NA motor, everything from bmw is turbocharged ::)
Turbo motors suck!!
Give me an NA high revving any day! Or even mustang 5.0 or Chevy 6.2/7.0

What you just mentioned will be brought up if the new M3/M4 doesn't deliver...
Plus the new M3/M4 has "Active Sound", which means that they play the exhaust note thru the speakers. Which means that it probably is a pre-recorded track, unless they have mics in the engine bay.
And you can't turn it off, either. Why are they doing this?
Because BMW's turbo engines are too muted and or getting around Euro flyby regs.

Actually the active sound on the m3/m4 play the engine note to the speakers not the exhaust and no artificial sound for the m3...
I believe in the m5 it's a little different and u don't even notice it
Someone brought over a m5 to Kevin's shop the other day and we didn't notice anything
