Can bigger version of Shawn Rhoden beat Kai Greene?
All talk about Kai vs Phil, but Shawn vs Kai should be also considered.
Ofc, Shawn needs more mass, no doubt about it. He was around 17lbs heavier this year. Kai was a lot of bigger than last year.
I think that comparisons with this years Shawn with last years Kai would be more interesting. Lets look at this years comparisons from prejudging, bot got dryer at the finals.

Shawn needs more "back meat"...his mid to lower back needs to be thicker, like Shawn Ray once said with "snakes of detail"...
If he has that, I'd say that he has Kai beat.

I don't see Kai improving. He will be 39 by next year's Olympia. Rhoden is kind of old too but a few years younger I believe

it'll probably happen. Rhoden new and getting better. Kai can't peak much more than he has. It may be 2 years, but he may place higher.

Shawn looked EXACTLY like last year, I don't buy the 17 lbs at all
2-3 lbs max and that's being generous.
I do think he can explode and gain a huge amount of weight while keeping a somewhat small waist if he trained the way Ronnie wants him to train and take the huge cocktail in a year
but he doesn't even want to train his back 2 times a week as Ronnie advised him.... lazy
