Title: Pro cards: Do they really exist?
Post by: Hurricane Beef ! on December 27, 2005, 02:19:39 PM
We have been reading about them for years. My question is, do the exist? By that I mean, is there a physical " passport " like document or a photo ID ( drivers Lic ) looking affair?

I wonder ( if they do exist ) could one of the board pro's scan one so we could get a look?

The SAG card is nothing more than a business card with your member number on it and address of the affiliates.  I had one for 10 years.  If I remember it folded in the middle.  I quit the business in 1995 with a McDonalds commercial being my last thing I ever did.  In LA that little card impress's people.  Get a DGA Card and you can get laid anytime

Yes. It is a card with the symbol of the IFBB, with Wayne DeMilia's signature-even though he's no longer the IFBB chairman. The card is the "key", which allos you to compete on pro shows. Without it, you're stuck with the NPC and other National amateur bodybuilding federations.

I always think about him...a piece of paper (and that is exactly what it is) won't do much.

A IFBB Pro Card looks like literally without exaggerating or bullshitting...a Monopoly playing card.

It's blue with the IFBB logo on it with your signautre on the bottom. Literally...right out of a Monopoly box.

Actually Wayne`s signature is not on the card, in the back of the card is Ben Weider as President IFBB,  Eric Weider as Chairman Professional Division and James Manion as Vice-Chairman, Professional Division.
