Title: Anybody ever had experience with any of these...?
Post by: SuperMike3288 on December 27, 2005, 08:37:10 PM
Currently in wrestling, but after a short 2 months from now I will be able to return to the great sport of bodybuilding. I was doing some supplement shopping and wondering if anybody has ever tried any of these supps?
Nytro Fusion by Sports Science Research
Nitrous by Syntrax
Amino 2222 by Optimum Nutrition
UniLiver by Universal
MegaMilk by Dymatize
Matrix 5.0 by Syntrax
and some standard whey products
100% Whey by Optimum Nutrition
Metabolic Whey by MRM
Complete Whey by Cytosport

Any info on results, pricing, alternatives, flavors and anything else would be appreciated. Thanks!

I take them & I like them. I take 10 a day (5 in the morning & 5 in the evening). At about midday I take a tablespoon of liver powder in V8.

Warning: These tabs are huge & if you have a hard time taking pills they aren't for you.

Have you ever tried the Amino 2222 tabs? Those are huge as hell. Are they compareable to that?

I've never tried them but I think I know about how big they are & if it's what I'm thinking then they're about the same size.

We literally can't give it away, got a blow out sale on it now.  You can pick it up for 15.00 right now.

Buy the bulk powder form (di-arginine malate) or buy Nitrocharge from Primaforce, it's cheaper for the same thing.

That is one big ass pill, I see no need for it unless you just refuse to ingest protein in other forms.

Best value for this type of product.  Old schoolers swear by it.  As cheap as it is, I'd put it into your regimen.  Just make sure it is the only thing you add at the time you do.  That way you can see if it is doing anything.  I'd do it when cutting as opposed to bulking.

A MuscleMilk knock off that doesn't taste as good but is a much better value.  Judgement call on your half really

Matrix 5.0 by Syntrax

Not sure on taste, but for a blend it is a pretty good deal.  It comes in a 5lb bag, not a tub.  It's like the optimum 10lb bags.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of these.  Optimum will likely taste the best in chocolate.  MRM can be found cheaper than any of them.  This is more a matter of personal preference.  Hope this helps.

I actually just placed an order with you guys for Nytro Fusion. Is it really not any good or is it just that nobody is willing to try it?

Agreed....price, protein per serving, fat/carb content....it's not a bad bet.

If nothing else then just take 4-5 a day for the B vitamins.
