There are people that have this shit even without medication.  >:(

The only thing that helps (and isn't weed) is taking ZMA. I do need double the prescribed dose, but it works. At least I can get to sleep. I wake up early, or at any sound I hear at night, but at least I don't spend 8 hours staring at the ceiling or playing solitaire (or GetBigging...).

My kid is awake now, which means I am, even though I don't feed him. I used to be a sound sleeper, but since we had him, not so much. I used to be able to sleep through a bomb.

Go see that piece of shit movie "Gravity".

Holy crap what a shitty film.

Three minutes into the movie, scientists are reparing a satellite.  A radio transmission says that a missile has exploded the Russian satellite right next door but don't worry,  no reason to be alarmed...keep working.

I wanted to leave from that point on...and it didn't get any better.  Outstanding special effects.. I'll give it that. But the movie could have been a short film...a chick floating around in space

Cease all mental calculations.  Lie down in the dark, jerk off, and think about the dream you had last night or the last dream you remember.  Or read a shizzo/bolico thread.

Insomnia is horrible. Few things can drive someone as crazy as the inability to fall or stay asleep and the consequences, mental and physical, are just plain bad.

Cease all mental calculations.  Lie down in the dark, jerk off, and think about the dream you had last night or the last dream you remember.  Or read a shizzo/bolico thread.

Tons of you guys are online over there!  Probably some sort of government experiment underway.

Thinking about a previous dream often helps me.  I still stay up for a 48 hour stretch a couple times a year tho, often at stressful times.  Fuck it, you're not gonna die from it so do some chores!  :D

I am. He's been good about sleeping through the night since 8-9 weeks, goes down at 730-8, but will wake up usually on e before six. Throw in the fact my wife still has to pump too, and it throws me off. I genuinely feel bad for her, as I usually just lay there, but last night I volunteered to wake up.

my son was waking uo before 6 as well.... around 8 months my wife pushed his bedtime back an hour and he now sleeps until 6-7 every morning. .... sometimes hell literally just play quietly in his crib for an hour.

I think hes saving it up f9r his teenage years. Not stoked.

Ask him to prescribe Xanax. It's mainly for anxiety, but it also helps you sleep. Works for me, and I was going through the same shit, up 2-3 nights in a row. Couldn't hurt.

The worst insomnia I experience is when I have a job interview the next day, or a morning flight to catch.

Here's what I take 1 hour before bedtime if I feel anxious or nervous.  It works:

- Cal-Mag (chelated) 3-4 tabs.  The Magnesium also causes/enables you to take a nice dump the next morning.
- Melatonin 3-9 mgs
- L-Tryptophan 1000 mgs
- Vitamin C  1000 mgs
- Herbs (valerian, hops, skullcap, passion flower, Cali poppy)  usually comes in one formula.

Do not take/drink any caffeine at least 6-8 hours before bedtime.

Eating simple carbs (bowl of cereal) before going to bed also helps.

even 150mg of tren (ace or enan) is enough to cause your insomina. typically it wont reside until you stop the compound. i'd just take advantage of it, unless its causing you daytime lethargy, in which case it isnt the tren as it'll leave you wired all the time. your capacity for workload will be thru the roof etc despite only getting 4 good hrs of sleep a night.

350mg combined of any anabolics is not hrt. everyone says 'oh im hrt' meanwhile they are running values 4x higher than baseline.

I was on a opiate management medicine since I am a former heroin addict, and I decided it was time to get off everything and just be 100% sober, so I checked myself into a inpatient detox and discontinued the suboxone..... so trust me, its not the 150mg tren.  ;D I hadnt slept since last saturday.... finally got some decent sleep last night.

Thanks for the adviced though.

best of luck dude.  i had a friend started with percs, then oxy, then was shooting dilaudid. shits a slippery slope. his doc told him straight out 'i can script you subox but chances are you'll be an addict for life' he used the subox to wean himself off the opiates, and stopped the subox cold. he told me what he went thru. unreal. stay strong bro. ps- hes been clean for 2 yrs.

I have been a bad sleeper since my mid teens, somewhat due to bad routines and habits along with some bad luck I would say. In my early 20's I developed some psychological disorders and one of the negative outcomes associated with them was that I essentially lost the ability to naturally sleep about 95% of the time. 10mg of Xanax wouldn't even put me down. The answer for me has been Seroquel. I was started on 50mg quick release and these days I take 100mg quick release to go to sleep (tolerance takes waaaay longer to go up than with benzos). It is an anti-psychotic drug used to treat bi-polar and schizophrenia, I have NEITHER of those conditions and have it prescribed to me for off-label use as a sleep aid.

Positives about this drugs, particularly for a previous substance abuser are;
- No recreational value
- Not addictive
(as with any drug there are very rare cases to the contrary)
- the active metabolite lasts for 12 hours and that is with the quick release version. The shit puts you down and keeps you there like nothing else I have tried

Other things to note is that it increases GH slightly :) and it makes you very hungry so sometimes its hard not to pig out at night.

Coming off Suboxone is no joke. At one point for legal reasons I was attending a clinic for counseling and they dished out a shitload of Methadone and Suboxone to Heroin addicts looking to quick or reduce usage. This place also dished out a crap ton of Seroquel

I've seen people on Meth go down off only 25mg of Seroquel also

Yeah, I think of dreams, too, and it works well. Also, having certain habits such as using earplugs at every single time (whether or not you need them for noise), will trigger a response to sleep.

In any case, a person is 1000x better off laying down in the dark with the mind shut off to the type of thought that's linked with calculating, deliberate structuring, etc., as you will then be able to function the next day.

That's a great tip.

I've noticed as I'm falling asleep my thinking pattern becomes cluttered and starts making less sense. If I can manage to consciously mimic this myself I can fall asleep a lot faster.

If that doesn't work, I feel bad for you. I guess the next step would be a Valium and a Soma.

If Ambien don't work... you are on something very, very strong that is over-riding your CNS. Might wanna consider that.

BTW, the max dosage of Soma is 350 mgs... you can take 2 ~ I don't know why that wouldn't at least give you the munchies and a good long nap.

The next thing, which is even harder to get is real GHB. Wouldn't fuck with it again (it used to be legal) but it did work quite well even when on T-3 and Clen and Tren.

I dont know if you read the rest of the thread, but I checked into inpatient detox in order to finally be rid of the opiate management meds I wasnon, so my CNS is skyrocketed to the moon, because it was depressed so long.  Didnt help that in detox they kept me dooed up with Roboxin, anxiety meds and trazadone, so as soon as they released me my CNS rebounded and I didnt sleep for 7 days.

No, didn't read through it all, sorry. Traz... oh fuck me! Opiates, yeah, killed the receptors and basically made you feel like you were tweaking. You will need a cocktail of Benzos and Muscle Relaxants, but they are equally addictive.

Coming off and expecting to titrate under proper supervision and then being left to your own accord can end up being a lifetime battle of hell. I feel for ya ~ fuck.
