The HCG Diet is effective, but only with the injections or sublingual tabs, not the drops. The protocol is a strict 500 calorie (specific foods) diet. Of course 500 calories a day will cause weight loss, but there's something about the injections/tabs that "resets" the the hypothalamus or something which prevents regaining the weight back and retains muscle tissue. There's a minimum and maximum amount of time to be "on". I have a couple of friends who've done it and it's worked for them. They said the diet is not for wimps.

Personally I hate those fucking guys in my profession that do this shit. I get their MLM bullshit in my office all the time. I had someone come in with the "Body by Vi" (or something like that) thing and I told them I would get back to them in a day when I read through it all. They stopped back and I listed off all the bullshit stuff about their product and their claims. I showed him three products that had better quality protein and were cheaper. He then countered with the usual "Well, I am sorry you are opposed to making money". At that point all I could think about was GetBig phrases lol. I actually said "First off you look like you maybe spend a day or two in the gym and think thats plenty. You probably tell people the lawn work or gardening you do is also good exercise. Secondly, I enjoy making money just not with the scam MLM way. You guys come in to my office at least 1 - 2x a month with this stuff saying its the best. Lastly, I didn't go to school to push MLM crap on people. Please go find yourself a bored housewife"
He left in a huff. I should have asked him if he would like to be a patient. I am sure he would have melted on that one.
P.S. Did you have a table there displaying your bottle opening abilities?

My aunt does the hcg diet. Shes lost like 40lbs, but shes skinnyfat because she does fucktons of cardio on top of that ridiculous diet.

my 30s have been interesting and now I'm inchin my way to my 40s. I've been told that 40s are easy...it's the 50s where stuff changes again like my 30s only moreso. When I was 25 I could eat 4 big macs (on a cheat day of course...bb related) and add a 1/2 inch of muscle to my arms and legs. today I eat one mcgriddle, immediately enter a fat girl coma, gain 19 lbs of bodyfat, need an oxygen mask for 30 minutes and a 2 hour recovery nap.

Yeah, my dad's girlfriend went on this diet. Five hundred calories a day with HCG? Yeah, no kidding you are going to lose a ton of weight. She did, that's a fact. Lost like 50-60 pounds in two months. Refuses to exercise. No time for it. All the time in the world to play poker every night.
