FYI - new iPad being launched next week:
http://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/2013/10/15/apple-invite-oct-22/2986851/
128 GB (I'll always pay more for storage)
WIFI (you can always use your phone when you need it as a wireless hot spot which you can connect your ipad to)

I made the mistake of getting the smaller capacity and within a month I filled it up. A game on the iphone might take up 60MB of space, the same game on ipad can be 600MB. so with movies and such it fills up fast. but with iOS7 you can now stream movies you own without taking up space on the pad which is nice. Wifi is all you need, there is wifi everywhere, unless you plan on driving and using it.

Just get the Nexus 10 2.0 when it launches a day before the iPad next week and put in extra storage on whatever size sim card you can afford.
I'll never buy another Apple product again.

You can do this with any wifi device as long as your phone is capable of being a hotspot and you have a tethering plan through the carrier.

New nexus products no longer support MicroSD cards or expandable storage because Google wants you to use the Cloud and Google Drive.

You should buy yourself a one way ticket to Mars and bother the folks over there with your stupid questions.

I'm getting black/gray - most likely 32Gb as I won't be watching movies on it much... its just for surfing, shopping, web browsing, and one game that I play which is Clash of Clans.
This will be my first ipad and it will be legendary.

32gb? No way, that's almost nothing. But then again if you're working with a limited budget then I understand. I have a 64gb iphone and it takes a lot of space pretty quickly, especially with today's high pixel resolution for pictures and movies. Even when you browse, surf and shop all these things can take some space too. It'll be my first iPad as well. I have the iphone in white, but not sure if i want to go white/silver or black/grey. I might drop around $1000 on this with the 128gb + wifi + cellular.

Not a budget issue really it's just me - I have always had Iphone 4 16gb now Iphone5 16Gb plus ipod nano 16Gb - never ran out of space - I have powerful PC plus at home where I store music pictures etc. movies I watch in theaters or sometimes stream online. So 32 for me should work.
But for each their own, its different I can see where you coming from... totally makes sense too; I also don't like to store too much "stuff" on my devices its just who I am :)

San Francisco (CNN) -- Thinner. Lighter. Faster. That's what Apple promises in its newest iPad, which also has a new name: the iPad Air.
The company rolled out the fifth generation of its market-leading tablet Tuesday. Among its new features, the iPad will weigh 1 pound, down from 1.4 pounds. It's 20% thinner and 28% lighter than the current fourth-generation iPad.
The iPad Air will have the same 9.7-inch screen as previous iPads and pack the same A7 processing chip that's in the iPhone 5S. That will make it 72 times faster than the original iPad, according to Apple Senior Vice President Phil Schiller.
"This is our biggest leap forward ever with a full-size iPad," Schiller said.

Apple's new iPad Air
The iPad Air will go on sale November 1. Prices will start at $499 for a 16GB Wi-Fi-only model and go up to $629 for a 16GB with 4G LTE connectivity.
Schiller also announced an revamped iPad Mini starting at $399. It will be available later in November in silver or space gray and will pack a speedy A7 processor and the same high-resolution "Retina display" as bigger iPads.

The older iPad Mini is still around and will cost $299. And the full-size iPad 2, launched in 2011, is still available for $399.
