A couple of years ago there was a video on the corvetteforum of the owner of that Atomic Orange Monster picking his kid up at school in the Vette. Must have scared to crap out of all the soccer Moms in their minivans.

That's not even a Corvette anymore....it's a Pro Stock with a Corvette shell. 50,000 dollar car and he can't sell it for 20 grand now.

My partner and I bought Mike Powers two time Silver State Classic open winner (207mph) !993 Camero with a new crate NASCAR 700hp power plant. Parts and pieces had to be way over $150k. We bought it for $20k. Sad for him. We raced it only once at Willow Springs in So Cal then sold it in the parking lot at Barret Jackson, Scottsdale, AZ for $20k. My $60k '03 Cobra, 700hp/and 700tq with all the track shit sold for $26k two years ago. OUCH!!!!
BTW the dude who bought the Camero raced it again at Silver State, had a blow out at 200+ and killed him and his navigator.

Over 200MPH in a quarter mile is incredible. I wonder if that car had the right gearing and a half mile of road if it could go 275MPH.
