Forgot to throw Gerald Ford in there too. He played college football at Michigan and looked like he had a decent set of shoulders on him.

Ford was probably the only prez to ever use the deadlift.  Most just lack that kind of thickness.  I expected more from reagan in that pic above.  I guess they do fit that "average american" physique look.
