When I was stationed in Germany there was a part of the barracks that was sealed off. You could access it by climbing through vents on the outside.  It was a Nazi barracks in WWII. They had tunnels that lead all over the base.  We would go down there and explore.  Found all sorts of furniture and letters. Wish I had videoed or taken pics.

Look at all the crap tossed out of windows which landed on that outcropping roof top.

Thousands of workers were brought in from India (Hindu and Moslem) for the most part.

Yeah, wikipedia said the garbage was five stories deep in the courtyard at one point.
