Will post more pics later, but here are two from last night's guest posing of Phil Heath at the 2013 NPC/IFBB Titans in Culver City. Very good crowd, and lots of quality competitors on that stage.

Do posing briefs need to be THAT small?

The look of arrogance in the 2nd pic is shameful. I would NEVER look at him and think "wow, he is Mr Olympia!" if i didnt know he already was, looks average at best. Yes i know he can get in shape etc but you put him on stage with the best guys from 10 - 15 years ago and he possibly doesnt even qualify for the O. If anything he exemplifies the regression of the sport.
I can not understand the hype about this man.

Someone said he looks monstrous alone.. No he doesn't he's one of the worst mr o's ever... And arrogant as fuck too... If someone told me in like 2000 someone like Heath could be mr o I would have said no way.... I can't see what the hype is about this guy he has good arms ... And that's about is symmetry off not really big ... Doesn't have a pretty physique ... Just can't understand it...

And that was the day the little girl understood what her mommy was saying when she overheard her mommy telling her best friend what a fukcing schmoe her ex husband(this girls father) is.

Im looking at this as objectively as i can and im still not seeing it, wheres the x-factor that sets him apart?

I was at the show, my wife competed in figure (didn't do so well but had a good time). The night show was almost 5 hours long.
When Phil gave his speach it was pretty good, some highlights
"Its good to be the King!"
When Jon Lindsay asked about Kai signing the poster Mr Olympia Phil said "There is something wrong with that guy, his ponytail must be too tight"
He was very cool and said "Come on up to me and say hi, I would like to meet everyone I can" and then he told a story about the first time meeting Ronnie Coleman and juat stared cause Big Bubba was so big. Good show, a ton of really great competitors. I was extremely disgruntled on having to sit thru the mens' upperbody building physique rounds. Some dudes competed in like 4 diff classes.....too much

Phil looked incredible. He is thick as a brick and has perfect proportions. The flow of his physique is near perfect. He also has a pretty decent sense of humor.

Having been a competitor for the large part of 12 years I have seen and known many great bodybuilders and Phil is among the best. Certainly there have been guys who are more massive but few who made the mass look good. Phil Heath, Chris Cormier, Flex Wheeler and Kevin Levrone are a rare class of bodybuilder who can hold 250lbs + muscle and make it look pretty.

You must overlook MANY flaws to consider him great. He is average but the best out of the current crop.

Not one of those bodybuilders who can be a little smooth and still look super impressive.....
