the best pic ive ever seen of coleman was i think back in 96-96 contest.. i think maybe the olympia? his back almost mached dorians at that time plus he had a wasp waist.

I think it can be stated without a doubt that since BB is such a subjective sport, the statement that Ronnie never beat Dorain is rather moot. Listen, if Ronnie came into a contest in 2003 shape but it was 1995, he probably would have been overlooked. Every year, an incredibly in shape bobybuilder gets screwed. The reason is that the judges basically have it pre-determined in their minds who is top three. Just look at the 1998 Olympia, Ronnie (obviously blew Flex away) was not even in the first call-out. I believe the first show that may be interesting in years will be the next Mr. O without Ronnie Coleman. Then, we can see if the mantle will be passed to the unhappy loser...Jay...or will it go to someone more deserving like Branch, Victor, Dexter, Gunther, or Melvin. Although I don't care for his shape, I bet they give to Gustavo to draw in a more international audience.

funny thing when your own fans no longer thing you look healthy anymore, in those 96-2001 shots he looked like a massive beast, but healthy, just look like he worked his ass off. after that, he was just a freak

How old are you? Aging's a bitch, let us know when you're in your mid-40s chances are you will look quite different then. ;) It's hard to believe he's still competing when others are in the master's category.
In '92 he was obviously too small; '98 or so was about right. Don't be surprised by the reality of middle-age + drugs. He's in his mid-40s now. Plus let's face it you get used to and enjoy eating, making weight loss harder.
