Title: Vitamin Shoppe Sales on Jan 2 and 3
Post by: PhoenixBuff on January 01, 2006, 09:23:25 AM
FYI - If you have a "Vitamin Shoppe" in your area, they are running a 2 for 1 sales (buy one, get one free) on all VS Products, January 2nd and 3rd.   They are also offering a 30% discount on all name brand products as well.

I don't.

I wouldn't trust a place that keeps on mispelling "Shop" either.

Beware fellas.

That's not a misspell, per se. That's how the word was spelled in old-school (17th or 18th century) English, much like "color" and "colour".

GNC has some good deals also

The usual 20% off with the gold card.
plus A gold coupon for additional $20.00  off with the purchase of $100.00 or more.

Cause they're going out of business.  They've closed 147 stores in the last 3 months.  That was a quarter of what they had.

Guess what's happening in 2006  ;D

Actually, they closed 36 and opened 21 new stores in fiscal 2005.  Thats a loss of 15 stores.  Rumor has it that they do plan on closing an additional 70 underperforming stores in 2006.  Any idea where that 147 # came from?  ;D

I can actually care less what their outlook is for the future.  As long as the prices are good, I can give a shit less where I buy from.  I usually buy from Muscleshoppe.com as their prices are some of the cheapest ive seen.

They just opened one here and it is burying GNC.  I've never been in a supplement shop with a line.  There prices are way cheaper than GNC, so I would figure that was a major reason they are closing so many.  GNC never has anyone who knows anything about nutrition working.  They are just regualr people looking for work.  But they have the bucks behind them so they make it
