What will you welfare recipients do to survive?
I really don't understand the American public fascination with welfare? this seems to be used by politicians as a means of "slight of hand" while the real money being spent goes unnoticed!
Defense, Healthcare and Pension account for 75% of the budget.

That chart would indicate that obama has been extremely successful at adding jobs so Americans don't have to depend on the government for support.

Between 2009 and 2011, about $858 million worth of food stamps, or just 1.3 percent of all benefits, were traded at a discount for cash.

Incredible how store put on advertising campaigns for EBT customers.
The Food stamps have also caused food inflation.
Prices are escalated and it can be linked directly to food stamps. It's just like government loans for tuition given to college students. The food companies (WIC approved foods, etc.) rise their prices.
This paper talks about the inflation and profit link from universities.

Basically, a college raises their tuition up to $1 the government will match it. Food prices rise, government will match the average rise to the benefits received, higher profit margins for food companies (especially the ones that are "WIC" approved, etc.)

so if you get 200 bucks a month, they are cutting you buy $10. Big fucking deal. it's free money anyway.
the rest is just hot air what they "might" do....and if you look at the numbers, it doesn't add up to shit in the long run. Food stamps aren't going anywhere.
-
we used to have food stamps in Poland back in the communist regime... just sayin'

Shouldnt even be food stamps. They should either be earned by picking up trash, etc. or better yet have warehouses primarily supplied by the farmers we are now paying to not grow crops.
