Pudz is great. Very well rounded.

-
I bet he used to lift Ronnie as a warm up set
-
How tall is he?
hes 6'1''
hell of a physique for a strongman competitor
-
his diet in Flex a few months back was nuts. If anyone has it post it here, I literally could not believe what this guy eats.
-
All those strongmen take 'enhancements' just like most others in powerlifting/bodybuilding...He is the new breed of strongman...He has more athletic ability than any other competator...We will watch strongman competitions change due to this monster....
-

in what way, number of calories?
-
All the strong men do drugs, how did he get caught. Was it diuretics again?
-
obviously he use drugs to get the edge in the competition, but i bet he would be pretty impressive without it even
-
Mariusz has been disqualified I think a few times for breaking anti-chemical rules...He would already have 4 WSM titles by now if he hadn't been disqualified from some international events....
-
I dont get drug testing, It looks to me they are all on it at the time of the competition. So whats the deal, are they looking for specific drugs?
-
Flex Wheeler would take him...he's a Ninja!
-
in what way, number of calories?
he eats tons of candy bars during the day...wakes up in the middle of the night and eats candy bars, eats like 3lbs of bacon...

I've often wondered this too - a few years ago Mariusz tested positive for cocaine after coming third in the WSM.
You could tell he was high on something because he was standing on the podium waving his arms around and generally acting like a clown. The two guys above him (I think it was Savickas and Virastzuk) were just standing impassive during the ceremony.
So to partially answer your question - I don't think they bother testing for gear - it's probably other stuff like ecstacy and coke etc.

Sorry to bust anyone's image of Pudzi, but he doesn't stand a chance against the top guys in the IFSA when it's heavy events and not just stamina and sprinting.
The two best strongmen in the world today are easily Savickas and Mikhail Koklyaev. Koklyaev tied Savickas into the final event at the IFSA World Championships in Reykjavik, where Savickas set a new world record.
Mikhail Koklyaev also has pulled a raw 880 lbs deadlift, belt only. The guy is a monster.
Both Savickas and Koklyaev did 10 reps with 320 kg's (approx 711 lbs) in the deadlift for reps contest. I'm sure Pudzi could probably get maybe 4 or 5 with that weight. If he's lucky.
When it comes to stamina and light ass events, Pudzi rules supreme however. That's why I consider WSM a piece of shit contest these days, and the Arnold Classic the real test for who is the greatest strongman in the world.

totally agreed, the sad thing is they make the WSM events light so the Americans can do better and with the exception of Phister they don't do shit.

Drug testing in WSM? Isnt that like looking for hay in a haystack?

Savickas is extremely fat, slow and has no breath. Do not compare him to Mariuz... Mariuz is the ultimate athlete, nothing on this planet gets closer. He is a mix of several sports in one man. Mariuz kills savickas in every exercise longer than 25 seconds. hope this helps!!

that's all well and good if we're talking about track and field, this is strongman and Savikas totally destroys Pudz on the strength and power events.

WSM is more than just strenght & power, although those are great attributes, stamina, flexibility, and general athleticism are also factors. Whilst Savickas rules in power & strenght, Marius is a better all-rounder.

Went to a bb seminar held by a Doctor/BB.
Since he worked with some pro BB´s I asked him a few off the record questions
afterwards about some pros drug habits.
Funny thing was all of a sudden he started to talk about Puz.
He claimed that he knew exactly the doses Puz took 2years ago.
-
I will only recognise Mariusz as the WSM when he is regulary beating Savickas at the static stuff. Until then, Savickas is stronger IMO. But Marius has the best functional physique definitely.
-
then why do they call it STRONG man, dummy?
Assuming you're talking to me:
Because it involves a myriad of skills and events which include strenght feats they call it strongman.
If it was about pure power and strength, they would call it powerlifting.

I didn't see much difference. i think you are being partial. the "normal" strongman did it all, and this guy is in no way comparable to Mariuz. Well I keep my opinion! Mariuz is better!

Hehe...
According to what I've heard, he's got his own medic team with him, and gets shots even through competition. I don't know much about that stuff, if there is stuff like fast-acting testosteron, or if adrenalin can be used, but that's what I was told he was using.
On the other hand, until a couple of years ago, like maybe 5 years ago? Savickas was IMO likely lifetime natural.
He's definitely the most serious guy out there, eats, sleeps and trains more serious than anyone.

Savickas probably naturally burger, macdonald eater. As far as being juiced, that is so obvious... of course he is... With the amount of fat he has couldn't barely lift himself from the floor. He weigh's 160 kg, right? 40 kg of fat right? Not much of an athlete...

Not dissing you bro, just joking, wouldnt put it past them shooting adrenaline or some other "upper".
Question is, are rewards worth the perceived risks?
Marius is obviously genetically gifted, but to be in conditioning he is in, with the amount of power, drive and stamina he has, I shudder to think what the pharmaceutical bill is!
Dont give him much of a lifespan.

Actually, I think Savickas is at a greater risk. Look at his bodyweight, and his obvious high blood pressure.
And my question was honest, I was hoping for someone with a little knowledge on the topic to explain what the fcuk could be going on.
For the record, I think Pudzi is a great strongman, and puts on a great show. Nothing against him, he just doesn't have the genetics (height and size) to be the best in strongman. Marunde has a good shot IMO, if he keeps at it and avoids injuries. He seems to have the dedication, and is also brutally honest with his weak points.
Most importantly: Marunde has grip strength like crazy and is pretty much perfect height.
Look for him in about 4 years IMO.

I think that Savickas, as well as others, are doing massive amounts of testosterone, especially nandrolone, they need to "protect" their joints as well as promote muscle strength and recovery time. Adding to that some growth hormone on the offseason, you might be reaching the real conclusion. I heard (don't know if it is true) of test doses around 10g a WEEK!

hossain raz has the strongest leg power.
savikas has the strongest shoulders in the world.
Pudz couldnt beat them in individual powerlifting or olympic lifts, but is the much greater all-round strength athlete.

I don't know if they are taking anapolan, but it is possible, in order to produce more red cells and increase oxygen absortion. This heavy guys ran out of breath very quickly, especially Savickas, the man is really heavy!

CHEQUE DROPS
Mibolerone
[7-alpha, 17-alpha-dimethyl-19Nor-androst-4-en-3-one,17b-ol
17-hydroxy-7,17-dimethyl-estr-4-en-3-one
17beta-Hydroxy-7alpha,17-dimethylestr-4-en-3-one]
Molecular Weight: 302.455
Molecular Formula: C20 H30 O2
Melting Point: N/A
Manufacturer: Upjohn, Supra
Release Date: (Has been released and re-released numerous times)
Effective Dose: 200-400mcg
Active Life: 2-4hours
Detection Time: Immediate (only)
Androgenic:Anabolic Ratio: 250:590
Mibolerone was initially as a veterinary product used to keep female dogs under control while they are in heat by shutting down the cycling of their ovaries. With proper timing, breeders are able to regulate the heat cycles of their bitches. Eventually, athletes began to utilize the product in order to boost aggression before events. It was even rumored that Mike Tyson was on Cheque Drops during the infamous ear biting incident during his bout with Holyfield. However, the late great guru Dan Duchaine discovered the application of Cheque drops in modern bodybuilding far before that. The drops went in and out of production several times, before making a recent insurgence due to the piqued interest in the product thanks to the growing popularity of ultimate fighting circles.
Cheque drops are extremely potent… certainly one of the most potent androgens known to man. According to the manufacturer, “When compared to testosterone, it is 5.9 times more potent as an anabolic agent and 2.5 times more potent as an androgen.” The most probable usage for Cheque drops is for administration to athletes 30 to 40 minutes prior to an event that requires extreme aggression and adrenaline. To adapt the drug to bodybuilding purposes requires a much more complicated dosing regimen. Due to its toxicity, Cheque drops should not be used longer than two weeks at a time, and at low dosages. However, for an anabolic effect, Cheque drops should be used at 5mg (5,000mcg) a day or more. However, that would possibly lead to prompt physical illness. In order to find a medium that is possible for the modern bodybuilder, it is important to remember a few key aspects of the compound. Keep in mind that the dosages appropriate are only used to increase aggression, which can subsequently increase strength. The actual anabolic effect at these low doses is limited. Furthermore, long term use (beyond two weeks) will lead to testosterone suppression and liver damage. Using the drops sparingly (1-2 drops at a concentration of 200-250mcg 30 minutes prior to a workout for no more than 2 weeks at a time) will provide a boost in training and aggression. Many users report breaking personal lift records when utilizing the compound. If the drops are used short term, testosterone levels should bounce back rather quickly. However, due to the risk of suppression, it is best to use the drops while on an anabolic stack in order to ensure elevated test levels. As the drops are only used as a supplement to lifting, they can be used when bulking or cutting. I would never recommend using this stuff without other compounds; however…the increased aggression without the increased performance provided by other compounds may be dangerous. They do not aromatize (convert to estrogen), so if used in the context above, Nolvadex, Armidex, or other such agents are not necessary, nor is the use of Clomid. It is highly progestenic, but in the doses we’re talking about, that won’t be a concern either. Unfortunately, this stuff blocks LH secretion, which will wreak havoc with your natural hormone production with prolonged use.
The half-life of the compound is very short (about 4 hours), so along with its immediate impact on the body, it leaves quickly as well. The drug has had enough of an impact, however, to be included in most all banned substance lists in most athletic organizations, so precaution should still be utilized. Several metabolites of this compound may still be detectable however (J Vet Pharmacol Ther. 2000 Apr;23(2):57-66.), if you are tested immediately.
While it is sometimes touted as the most androgenic compound on the planet, it might subsequently be the most toxic as well. A 19 nor-androgen it can possibly cause progesterone related gynocomastia (you don’t want that) if used out of the recommended dosage and time frame. A 17AA compound, it can also severely affect liver function. Precaution MUST be used when dealing with Mibolerone. Side effects include but are not limited to: increased aggression, hypertension, insomnia, and severe liver damage.
Female athletes should avoid this compound at all costs. Remember, it’s used to regulate ovulation in bitches (ok…that was a gratuitous use of that word again…).
Side effects include but are not limited to: severe acne, deepened voice, as well as depression of menstruation and clitoral enlargement…and…err…vaginal secretion (if that’s an issue…). If taken by a pregnant female athlete, it would have possible effects on the fetus, as well as alter serum lipids. Remember, this stuff is used to control bitches in heat (and no, that wasn’t slang; it’s really used to control female dogs that are ovulating).
For those that are naturally aggressive, this compound will elevate aggression to dangerous levels. It may affect some users more severely than others, and should the athlete still be experiencing elevated aggression levels after the estimated time of physical exertion; they may displace aggression on others. Cheque drops should not be stacked heavily with other 17AA compounds. Let’s be honest, though….this stuff is powerful, but not deadly. The LD50 (the dose at which 50% of the lab rats died) is 1,600,000mcg/kg! You’d need to take bottles and bottles of this stuff per day, to replicate anything nearing that dose.
Cheque drops are manufactured by Upjohn, and available in a 100 mcg per cc, 55-cc bottles. There are 3 Chinese manufacturers of Mibolerone powder, which offer the crystalline form for anywhere between 200-350 dollars/gram. Several underground labs have also begun to produce Cheque drops, such as Supra, with a concentration of 200mcg/ml, but the prices remain high, and the availability low. Currently, Supra is the leader in Cheque drop production for athletes today.
