you either burn trees, or charbon or use nuclear, nothing is free, and "pure" to generate electricity. And solar wind/water based generators have not been convincing enough so far ofr mass production. So yeah nuclear is still the best way, except when you build the fucking plants at dumb places or when you didnt plan to recycle the wastes.

I would consider supporting nuclear power if we shot it out to space, but I believe someone has done the math and it isn't lucrative enough so it will not happen.
But I'd prefer to strive against less waste above all. Nuclear is just an easy way out, like using oil. Not sustainable.

well it's pretty common sense that minimally informed people should be very cautious what they consume coming from that area of the globe. Also about nuclear energy...it's safe and it s incredible -i mean fucking look around you everything that would be cut if no more nuclear plants- as long...as assholes dont built them in bad spots or dont maitain them correctly because of greed. It's human stupidity that led to this, as usual. The price to pay to learn the lesson will be very very heavy tho. But it goes hand in hand with the end of the capitalistic paradigm we ve been living in for decades now. Things just cant continue the way they do for too long. Too much abuse on so many levels.
