Carlos Cavazo is the guitarist playing on this song. I don't believe Quiet Riot ever did this cover song prior to Metal Health, did they?

randy rhodes was original guitarist back in 79/80/then ozzy 81/82 if my years are right.

Terry Kath was a BEAST! :D
2-minute solo starts at about 1:43, but really check out the entire tune:
Lots of Hendrix solos to pick from:
Wes starts at 2:58

I've always dug the outro solo to this tune.
-
Kind of a cheesy song but Gary Moore's 1 1/2 minute solo that starts at 2:04 is badass:
-
Always been partial to machine gun.
Machine Gun was sick as was Midnight.
Jeff Beck....Going Down I've been Used
Anything by Eric Johnson
Stevie Ray...Voodoo Chile Texas Flood
-
Rhoads:
Flying high again
I knew you were good people. Turned this up loud in the car a few days ago. I'd forgotten how great it is.

Yeah, sure, but ... as I say, it is Carlos playing on this song, not Randy. Rhoads was not featured on Metal health.

I've always dug the outro solo to this tune.
As far as an album with a number of beautifully crafted guitar solos, this is at the very top of the list.

Hell yeah. By the Way, Californication and Stadium Arcadium are masterpieces. Their latest falls flat, unfortunately.

Robert Cray. No frills, all emotion. Good shit.

David Gilmour lap guitar solo at 5:15 is sweet:
-
clapton rush sound track
-
I don't think this could be strictly be called a guitar solo - but it's remarkable nonetheless.
And of course, the incredible Tommy Emmanuel...
-
Out of the 80s metal bands, one of the most overlooked, but great guitarists is Testament's Alex Skolnick.
Some good soloing in this one. The parts fit the song and have emotion without being just pointless soloing.

it's like... he could put down the guitar for 30 years, pick it up, and STILL be better than I am today lol.
I'm wanting a nylon string guitar very badly.
