Post by: stuntmovie on November 08, 2013, 06:08:15 PM
That is all but .... it would be good to know if I'm correct or what?

And what was that ending scene during the credit roll all about?

Save your money!!!!!  This movie sucks!  Called the theater to see if it was sold out and I was told that there were 400 seats still available...25 minutes before the movie.  The lady told me they were anticipating a bigger turnout and were disappointed.

Chris H. is an awful actor and mumbles.  The actor playing his brother is really good and made Chris look inept as an actor.  Kind of like having Gary Oldman opposite Jean Claude Van Damme.

Thor 2 was a great movie. Not as good as the first one plot wise but good nonetheless.

Would have been great to see Gary Oldman opposite Jean Claude Van Damme in Thor 2 as well! Great movie

Really liked it.

thor and loki are 2 completely different characters, of course Tom hiddlestons character is more engaging, hes not a brooding love struck and confused demi god, hes a fucking maniac. Those characters tend to grab peoples attention.

RAGING, I agree with you and would go as far as to say that this is one of the worst SuperHero movies ever made, but I've never been a Thor fan so that may be part of the reason that I disliked it so damn much.

Here are some questions  you or some other GetBigger may be wiilling to answer ... (Spoiler ALERT for you GetBiggers who have yet to be bored to death by this piece of crap!)

 A. What was that ending scene during the  final credits all about?
 B. What was  in that little box that X handed to Y?
 C. Who was X and who way Y?
 D. What was the story behind LOKI turning into Thor's father at the end?
 E. Was LOKI really THOR's father during the entire 'story".
 F.  Why did LOKI stabb THOR and how did THOR recover so swiftly.
 G. Did THOR or did he not get his arm cut off during that big battle with the "Dreadly"? (Bad guy's name is wrong.)
 H. What ws the explanation for changing the locations (time warp?) during the other big battle?
 I.   Where was StanLee?

The single interesting scene was that scene where LOKI turned into CAPTAIN AMERICA, but I had lost interest about 12 minutes after that movie started, so I had no idea what was happening.

I amnow looking forward to seeing that VINCE VAUGHN  movie in which he discovers he has 533 kids.

That one should be more realistic and understandable. And the best line in that movie will consist of one single word ...

"WHAT!!!!!"

Wow bro you totally missed half the movie.. Loki is a master of deception... he created an illusion that he cut thors arm off and stabbed him to lul malaki into a false sense of security.... The time warp was the planets aligning and jane using a magnetic field generator to trigger magnetic events, since the borders between worlds were blurring from the alignment of the worlds.

Loki didn't die... it showed him change his image to an asgardian guard who was searching for Thor on the dark world... he returned as the guard and confronted his father... we don't know what happened to Odin yet, but obviously he took his fathers place during the battle.

The end was an infinity stone... its part of the infinity gauntlet that Thanos (who is shown in the end of the Avengers) is trying to aquire.

Stan lee was in the mental hospital asking for his shoe back.

Bro, did you just not pay attention to the movie at all?

 A. What was that ending scene during the  final credits all about? Guardians of the Galaxy an upcoming Marvel project
 B. What was  in that little box that X handed to Y? A part of the infinity gauntlet
 C. Who was X and who way Y? The collector he is a marvel character known for collecting valuable materials throughout the universe
 D. What was the story behind LOKI turning into Thor's father at the end? Loki never died, he pretended to, went back disguised as a guard and replaced his father as king probably after betraying him
 E. Was LOKI really THOR's father during the entire 'story". No check the previous answer
 F.  Why did LOKI stabb THOR and how did THOR recover so swiftly. It was all a ruse to catch the darkk elf off guard
 G. Did THOR or did he not get his arm cut off during that big battle with the "Dreadly"?  ^^
 H. What ws the explanation for changing the locations (time warp?) during the other big battle? The scientist used the device to keep transferring thor and the bad guy across worlds to prevent the bad guy from staying on earth long enough to finish his plan.
I.   Where was StanLee? In the mental ward with the scientist,he is the one that asked for his shoe back

SHOCK! ROSE! Thanks for your explanations ..... but now I'm really confused!!!

Guardians of the Galaxy!?
Infinity Gauntlet!?
The Collector!?
Master of Deception!?
Magnetic Field Generator!?
Infinity Stone!?

YEA! This story-line was galexies over my head!! Apparently my mind has difficulty within the modern version of this fantasy world.

Too many years of reading Nancy and Sluggo, Archie,  L'il Abner, and Superman comics, I guess!

OH, Yea! I did think that was Stan Lee in that 'Can I have my shoe back?" scene. I like the fact he appears in small parts of all his character films.

Name the famous director who used to do that also.

And see if you can name the roles he appeared in  within three of his films.

hIPO, I agree with SHOCK. Go see it and let us know how you liked it.

It was MILES above my understanding .... Way too much of a reality stretch.

But I also had trouble with the WIZARD OF OZ ... And that was just a couple of years ago.

ENDER'S GAME was kind of wierd in my own mind, but I did have one advantage ...
I read the book before seeing it.

GRAVITY was pretty simple though.

zIn an effort to show you GetBiggers that I'm not entirely stupid ..... I'm presently working on a screen-play regarding what would happen if the speed of light was suddenly reduced to 35 MPH.

And INSTRUCTIONS NOT INCLUDED (a film made in Mexico) was the best movie I've seen in the past few years.

Loki is a master of magic, he can use it to create illusions, like making himself appear as someone else.... so the whole deal with stabbing thor and cutting his arm off was a magical illusion, as was his death. he then took the place of the asgardian sent to look for them and returned to confront his father. We dont know what happened to Odin.

You didn't see what Loki was able to do in Thor 1 or Avengers??

Didn't know anything about the character at all?

Just thought you could waltz in and see Thor 2 as a stand-alone movie without knowing anything about the universe or the characters?

Didn't know it was a Marvel-production at all? Maybe you thought it was a movie about Vikings who worshipped Thor and Loki back in the day with Portman and Skarsgaard thrown into it for good measure?

Maybe you thought Thor was an employer or IRS and Loki was a conman that specialized in selling bogus time-shares to people?

You even know what kind of movie-genre it is before you start watching it?

So many LOLs here

Talk about not following the story or the characters at all :D
Loki is a Master of Deception and Illusions, he wasn't Thors father all along lol

He didn't really stab Thor, just made an illusion looking like he did, thus Thor never had to "recover" from the cut off hand lol

What the hell is "Dreadly", where do you come up with those names from anyways?

Do you not know how Stan Lee looks like? It was quite evident where he was in this movie.

Regarding the only scene you found interesting must have to do with you having a crush on Chris Evans!

How to Make Thor’s Hammer Mjolnir From Marvel’s Upcoming Film ‘Thor: The Dark World’

On a recent episode of Man at Arms by Break Media, master blacksmith and prop builder Tony Swatton forged an amazing replica of Thor’s hammer Mjolnir as featured in the upcoming Marvel film Thor: The Dark World. He made the sword from steel alloyed with chromium and molybdenum at his Sword and Stone shop in Burbank, California. Previously, we’ve written about Tony’s ongoing collection of custom-built weapons from pop culture.

If you didn't understand the mid-credits scene (or didn't stay for the credit scenes LOL) then you have no business criticizing the new Thor film LOL.

AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. to Feature THOR 2 Crossover

On Friday, it’s Hammer Time once more, as Norse mythology nerds and Tumblr-addicted Loki fans will at long last be able to return to Asgard in Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World. The film, which as you’ll see in my review later this week is quite enjoyable, isn’t where the Nine Realms-spanning fun stops though. Marvel revealed that on the November 19th episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the sweeps week story line will intersect with the ending of Thor: The Dark World.

Just what kind of intersection are we talking about? According to the official Marvel description, “In the aftermath of the events chronicled in the feature film Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World, Coulson and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. pick up the pieces — one of which threatens to destroy a member of the team.” The episode, titled “The Well”, is directed by Star Trek actor/NCIS: Los Angeles director Jonathan Frakes and will hopefully be a shot in the arm for the series and help it feel more directly connected.

In a recap for The Hollywood Reporter, Nick Fury co-creator Jim Steranko offered this appraisal of the series thus far: “The sometimes-manic, sometimes-plodding quality of the previous eps has settled into a pragmatic, if sometimes predictable comfort zone.”

Thor was pretty good! I 'm pretty honest about MARVEL films. Iron Man 3 was a train wreck, but Thor 2 was OK, see it in 2d, no need to spend the extra money for a cheap 3D conversion.

Yeah, but there could be no worse Marvel-movie than Iron Man 3.

What a pity they ruined it like that.

The Thor-movies are consistent though

Looking forward to Days of Future Past as well as Avengers 2 with Thanos

I'll skip Guardians of the Galaxy i think, even though Batista got the role as Drax the Destroyer, not too fond of talking trees and raccoons etc

Fuck you.  Groot is one of the best Marvel characters.
