Does it really thicken the skin? We all know its great for growth, may offer protection against type 2 diabetes, high in CLA and calcium which is important for fat loss etc.
Im not asking if it works, I know it works. You build more muscle and get leaner faster with dairy products in your diet. But my skin looks thinner when I ditch It even if my diet gets worse (candy apple pie etc)
hmm

ive yet to see any contest diets high in dairy?... i know this new theory of adding organic butter is doing the rounds, i dont see the need to add saturated fat when your eating meat etc
-
It depends. What sort of animals did your ancestors herd? It's really a question of race, after all.

high gi carbs. good post and pre workout when you want some sugar and protein.

Dude, it's milk. :-\
Pour it in a glass and you can drink it. It works.
Miss the glass and it "stops working".
As long as you're not lactose intolerant, drink copious amounts of milk or are in the final stages of some special diet I really don't think it matters, especially not if you're eating stuff like candy and apple pie.

1/2 gallon per day considered copious?

Not sure if your question is serious or not. ???
If it fits your macros and you like drinking milk, then drink your milk.
I eat/drink roughly the same amount of yoghurt and/or milk like you do, maybe a bit less.
When I want to tighten up a bit I usually back up on "liquid calories" for a couple of weeks.

does this guy still today bodybuild?

all that you mentioned about milk has long since been disproved, you should skip diary completely,

flinstones is semi-retarded fo sho - wouldn't be the brightest bulb on the porch if you get my drift

People respond differently. I've got a mixed heritage and can tolerate milk very well, even though people with the same ethnic background would usually spray shit out of their ass if they drank as much milk as I have in the past.
At least for myself, it doesn't make much of a difference. But I've seen people drink a glass of milk and get diarrhea and bloating. I don't think I bloat at all, but when I'm cutting down I try cutting out milk and just drinking water.

milk is for babies, beer is for men................

My skin is paper thin and I drink a glass of skim milk every morning and night. I did cut it out about a month before a show to be on the safe side.

Milk is rich in CLA.....it's an omega 6 fatty acid which is a fat that actually burns fat. However, the fat loss effects of calcium are still unknown.

Didn't it have to do with impaired fat absorption, where you excrete more of the fat you ingest?

just get lactose free
-
love lots of whole milk, yoghurt, cottage cheese when not dieting hard. Very satisfying.

It was the quark that I ditched. Maybe they sell a lactose free variant in an organic store, but I would prob pay twice as much.
Milk has only 4-5% protein. I remember the times that I bought 10 packs of it, lol.

Cottage cheese sounds less gay, but I'm not a fan of whales neither. Whey & casein are the only sources with some lactose (<1%) in my diet.
Milk, yoghurt, ice, pudding.. love it all!
