this video is great 80 percent of "junk dna" has atleast one biological function theyve figured out thus far
this junk dna is NON-Protien-coded . regular genes are protein coded.
the "junk dna/ non protein coded dna" is inbetween the regular protein coded dna/genes.
anyways the junkdna act like switches to the genes, interesting stuff not all new but alot of it is new

my point is these mainstream scientists experts always get shit wrong on purpose. it seems to be on purpose because it doesnt make sense to assume such things that can make you look like a fool....but still somehow manage to never be a fool in the eyes of the mainstream puppeteers

its all coded, in code
some dna is protein and attached to that is the non-protien coded but still "coded" dna
the seperation of the protien coded part and the non protien part is key in other words where does the seperation lie to discern one gene-and its switch (non protein coded)
and another gene and its non protien coded junk dna
its all about mapping it out for the public but when will they do that

we would just alter switches and codes on our own dna while still alive

Congrats, an interesting topic. I agree with you that Dawkins has an unfortunate tendency to interpret lack of positive evidence as positive evidence for what evidence is lacking for. He is to me actually quite unscientific in this regard. I admire people who admit what is unknown.
This being said- epigenetics is on the rise and it will be interesting to follow this field in the coming years.

I think you missed his point you crazy bastard. He doesn't mean junk as in useless. I take it as junk... Shared DNA... all life shares a crapload of DNA. It's the non junk DNA that makes you a pot smoking cookaloo and a dog mans best friend. The part that makes these differences is very small... Ie the non junk.
Shared = junk (should have called it standard instead of junk)

Not true. Shared DNA may well code for protein synthesis. Junk DNA refers to DNA that does not code for proteins. Recent recearch shows that such DNA, at least to some extent, has other functions.

I think he is a depressed man who wants to subtly depress other people in order to make them as miserable as he is. A passive aggressive dude who pretends to create and be positive, while he's mostly destroying and nihilistic. Like that dude in a wheelchair. But most scientists and medics are cold hearted, blooded weirdos who are fascinated by death and morbidity, and found a way to sublimate themselves and be part of society by making a profession of it.
